on the way in today--you've seen the weather.  you know i was in a car--i had the displeasure of listening to the fallout of this Folley incident.  in my mind, there is no more serious crime, nothing more damaging--though i don't know the ages of the people involved.  they were playing the responses of other senators and every one of them is using it to their political advantage.  it's like they're happy cause they have some ammo.....disgusting.  i switched to a CD.

All politicians are scum. If you keep that in mind at all times when you see them, hear them, speak to them or whatever, you know where you are at.

How do you know when a politician is lying? Every time he/she opens his/her mouth.

this is certainly the right way to look at our current set of politicians, but how iwll that ever lead to things being different.  knowing where you stand isnt so great when your standing in #$%*.

and my major beef is in the reporting- the headlines read- "Foley enters rehab" or "Foley abused by clergy as a youth"  not "Foley found to be a sexual predator"

and the pinnacle of this "liberal media" reporting of the story is when Fox news covered it they had the tagline under him read "D-Fla" and called it a "democratic scandal"

that crap should be punishable by the FCC

should we now take the same "always lying" aproach to our news media?  where does it end, how long before we find ourselves living that lie no matter how "aware" of it we are.

must stop before head explodes

hey, i certainly won't take issue with you on that one my brother...just don't over inflate yourself until you read Hondaman's takedown on TwoTired when they started discussing air bubble engineering in fuel lines.

see, though, I left myself a way out, observe as I slip unnoticed out of the spotlight, thusly:

"What do you mean homoerotic?  Can't you see that that man's avatar is on FIRE.  The skull in the avatar is quite obviously very hot.  Dut don't you think the avatar is cute?  Kinda like a little snuggly puppy....just on fire.

I wonder if you could rig up some propane tubing around the rim pointing outward and just ignite it?      If so I think riding it that way could be dangerous, or more probably the wind would blow it out
