CB750 in "The Terminator"???
« on: October 03, 2006, 07:14:59 PM »
Was watchin' The Terminator and didn't realize it, but all of the sudden Arnold is rolling up on a red CB750 with a cafe fairing.  Anyone else know this?  EVERYone else know this?  Just was kinda cool to be like, whoa, wait, that's a Honda!

It's a 1971 CB750K1 model, you can tell by looking at the tail section when it crashes (with stock pipes!). Of course it was repainted with tank emblems and striping removed. This information was mentioned on another part of a forum about a year ago when I first joined as a Newbie (I didn't even know what "Newbie" was until then). That CB750 was the first thing I noticed when I saw the movie some 20 years ago and got me interested in CB750 again. As a result I bought 5 stock 1969-72 CB750s since plus spare engines but I'm still looking for a good 1971 model. just missed one on ebay!

Here is a YouTube clip.  Too bad the bike gets laid over...

Embedding the clip doesn't seem to work.  I guess you could do a YouYube search on "Terminator 1 Tunnel Chase".

[Bear with me... I'm trying to include this clip...]
