R I don't think a different tire, bearings, and rim are the cure here.  If it was a tire issue wouldn't it do it at all speeds?

No, it depends on what issue the tire has.

I agree with Mick here. And my money is on the tire.

Have a good spare front wheel/tire?

I have one trued, and ready with new rubber.  Did 78 miles today and it felt great!  This bike is amazing it can go from 70 to 90 in a split second.  I cruise at 70 at 1/4 throttle.  Half puts me close to 100 MPH.

Ran real good.  Has a small oil leak somewhere, but I don't care.  I will shove an oil tampon in there for now.  It has definitely had something done to it.

So I just could not handle the shake rattle and roll anymore so I decided to replace the head bearings, and look what I found.  Lower tree race cracked into 3 separae pieces.  It looks like the stem is jacked up good as well.  Will have to use a different one.

Whats wrong with the stem ? Unless its bent the roller bearings should do the work. Looks like it was wise to change those old ones out.

It is completely gouged out probablly from the broken races grinding into it.  I don't have confidence that I can get the new bearing on there true.

If you have the parts, use them. Glad you found it, mine had roller bearings in it already  but they were flat spotted.

Intalled new tapered neck bearings from all balls.  Went pretty smooth this time.  So currently new tires, wheel bearings front and rear, and wheels trued up with new neck bearings.  Just moving the head back and forth you can feel the differance.

Test ride tomorrow.  Hope it works as good as everyone says.

Took her out for a test drive and the differance is night and day!  The handling is much, much better.  I can take my hands off the bars without the bike shaking at all!  At highway speed it is like it is riding on a cloud of air.  Very solid.  Goes around corners very smooth without any bucking like before.

Thinking of adding a stabilizer and see what that will do.  I'd love to know where this bike would top out at, but don't want to blow up the engine or throw a rod.  Never have a rode a 750 that has such breath taking smooth acceleration.  It is incredible.  At 6,000 RPM it is 90 MPH and climbing.

 How fast will it go?

10-4  Was a bit of a hastle, but well worth it.  Rides so much smoother.
