You may need to run an inline diode or resistor to separate the indicators from bleeding across the gauge (when L side is on, the R will also illuminate) due to that gauge having only 1 input wire for the TURN beacon. Many members have encountered this issue when using that gauge and the diode/resistor trick has worked easily. Depending upon whether your indicators are LED or not, may also necessitate the swap to an electronic flasher unit.

You might start testing a few of those connections before install to to verify your signal controls. (Tidy wiring by the way

)

yep.. Need some tests. only what I got work was that back light. Next time need find other correct wires. I realized that too that indicator light will not work like it should be with one gauge light.

#$%*... Where's the wires?!?! I got them on. Would be better that they will blink. Now they blink NOT.

I bought three pin electronic blinker relay but nothing happened. Do I have to put diodes to the wires??

blinkers are NOT LED lights. Only indicator in speedometer is led.

Yeah, that's what the diode is for. This is from another post on the forum, but it helped me. Your wires may vary...

Are the blinkers connected to the gauge idiot light? If so, to test, disconnect the gauge from the blinker circuit, and verify you have the wiring to the indicators correct, and the flasher relay working properly. Then add the gauge with a temporary connection. Test again. This will tell you whether or not you require diodes or resistors or more beer.

I dosconnected the meter and blinkers stands still.. Good point in this time is that there's power incoming every corner.

I'm so relaxed.. it's running!!

can you imagine guys that feeling that this was first time when I take this big engine apart, fix it and put pieces back together. Allmost make me cry when I started the engine. Unbeleavable feel!

lights up. works fine. hi/lo beam, tail/brake light.. everything ok but blinkers not work even old rela, and indicator is not connected from new speedometer.

I don't understand why blinkers not work with stock relay.. without meter LED. blinkers are not LED.. what I'm doing wrong?

Hey, congrats Andy! It's a runner now!

Did you test continuity on the blinker relay to make sure it's good? If so, then test to make sure you're getting 12v to the relay. and finally test to see if you're getting 12v at the turn signals. After that, I would check the grounds/earth connections on that circuit.

If all of those appear to be ok, then the problem may be with your turn signal switch. Try moving the switch all the way to the left to turn on the blinker and then slowly ease it back to the right a millimeter at a time, holding onto the switch while you're doing it. At the same time, watch to see if the blinkers turn on.

When we first rebuilt mine, I had to move it like that to get the turn signals on. So I took the turn signals off the bike and rebuilt them and cleaned up those connections at the switch to get them to work correctly. Now I don't problems with it.

bike sounds good but I think that have to change main jets bigger. So.. What is right size of main jets to this? open silencer and not stock aircleaner. Going to put free-flow pod cleaners on all carbs.

I've try to figured out and found some info that open exhaust (4-1) and aircleaners needs 3-4 size bigger mainjets, am I right? what about other jets? Living on zero sealevel.. If that's matter..

My calculations for jets is main jet +4 and pilot jet +1 or +2

meter wirings need to placed somewhere else because when headlight turns on, meter shut down.
