Congratulations Frank, breaking records is hard enough when you know you are trying to break them, breaking them when you haven't a clue you did it is PURE MAGIC, super well done. ;)

Why, yes sir it is, fixed #3 plug hole.  Installed NOS RC 9 plate clutch kit wit H/D springs and copper plates. Should be a runner by Sunday. My 11.11 /11.18 time was not indicative of what that bike could run. It was a 10 sec engine, will be again. 60 ft is the key to  a good run. I'm still learning,  but I am making progress. Frank's a great mentor and TD's been helping also. Frank, on the 10.60 pass ,what was 1/8 mile ET? Thanks, G'luck to all, Bill

Just curious if that was set on a wheelie bar bike or without bars. Impressive non the less and stock parts. That is something to brag about. All of the current records are being referenced from the old IDBa series. Rules come from them also. I wonder if nitro hunter still has a copy.

My old drag bike reportedly ran .02 off some record in it's day. After a pass, the track tech guy asked him what all was done to it. I've got hands full with my drag car and street bikes but I'd love to play too.

The PO passed away and was divorced a couple times so trophies and papers are long gone. I haven't found a photo either, just the bike.
I'd like to see the rules too.

They had a whole binder full of rules and classes. Unsure whether or not its posted online any place. They had all the class records on a spreadsheet on their laptop for quick reference too.

Try this forum Frank - http://supereliminator.myfastforum.org/  I found a thread about IBDA rules.  Need to be a member to post so... :(  However seemed 'baxter' had the 2000 set available.

This comment from dragbike.com cracked me up.
The CB guys seemed a bit like the British racers…”I say my good man, that is an attractive record you have there, would it be a terrible imposition if I dropped it a bit?”

Maybe it was my arrogant, matter of fact tone when he told me about the current record. I then said, no problem, I've gone way quicker than that so breaking the record shouldn't be a problem,  his eyebrows raised up a bit like he didn't believe me.

Bill, I expected you to enter the class this time and set the record. I wouldn't have entered if you had. My hands were full that weekend running 4 classes. Figured it was time for an sohc to show up in Super eliminator.

So....  go ahead and reset the record. I might sit back and learn something.
