50' is plenty. Assuming you overlap around 1/8" per wrap, you would use a little less than 30' on the 4 pipes, then another 5 or so feet at the collector.
I was not a cute kid, so I had to be good at math I guess. ;)

Brains over looks wins every time.

Lucky for David, he has looks AND brains, plus hot wife, cute baby, amazing bikes and humility.  And he's a firefighter.  His simply kicks ass.

Ha! Thanks Don! (psst..the check is in the mail for the compliment bribe money) ;D ;)

Well.....I drank good whiskey last night after driving a sexy car all day.

That Porsche was a fine looking roadster.

What ephemeral aftermath?

Or was that a math joke?

I was enjoying a nice whiskey when he posted that nonsense and was truly going to attempt to be the voice of reason with him. But then I noticed my glass was nearing empty and that's just unacceptable. I knew it wouldn't matter as many have tried to help him. Oh well...nice effort everyone. Really.

If he'd EVER held a 4-1 header OR a roll of exhaust wrap in his hands, he'd know what a ridiculous statement that is.
But he said his "friends in BK" told him it could be done. Maybe he should have just asked them how much wrap to buy, then....

That exactly what I said to my wife Scott. But...then he wouldn't have been able to ask a question, ignore the suggestions, and get things going.

No. I'm on vacation and was sitting by the pool and happened to see a picture of some wrapped headers on Instagram and took a closer look. Then I noticed who posted it.

Oh, and there's absolutely NO WAY to do it on the bike. You have to remove the header. Order four new exhaust gaskets when you order the wrap.

Im doing it on the bike and it will look great

Check it out.  Hmmmm . . . hose clamp fasteners.

a bigger one will hold it better  :P  and it will match the polished rims.

You have a point.  The clamps may offset the look of the semi-polished wheels and make them more Mad Max-ish.

Sorry, I lost restraint.

I am not too sure how the loose ends of the wrap are going to stay in place.  More clamps??
a bigger one will hold it better  :P  and it will match the polished rims.

You have a point.  The clamps may offset the look of the semi-polished wheels and make them more Mad Max-ish.

Sorry, I lost restraint.

He could've contacted me, I have a bevy of pre-distressed hose clamps scattered about the farm.
