Freezing rain, followed by more snow. Had some fun anyways. In two wheel drive, I can spin the LM650 in its own length. Dropped the tire pressures and in 4X4 I can go anywhere! Cheap thrills when the bikes are hidden away……

You take the pressures down to 2.5psi ?
If so,how does it do on your 'sheet of ice' driveway ?

Bill….. more like 5-6 psi. In four wheel drive it handles it, no problem. I still have about 200 lbs of split firewood in the back.

Did you purchase it with low mileage tires on it ?
Looks like it wasn't used much before your purchased it,Very nice.

It only had about 90 hours on the dash mounted hour meter when I got it. We’ve added another 90 in the past 18 months. It’s in excellent shape. The only thing I’ve replaced is a burnt out ignition key switch and all the fluids! And added a small tail light.

We get measurable snow here about every 5 years, it was fun last time!

Just plowed again so we can get out of here! We’re all headed to Eagle Lake, Sir Sam’s Ski Resort. Expecting more than 12” of snow in the next 12 hours. The chalet we rented is actually at the base of one of the runs, 75 feet from a lift, so getting there may be a challenge?

Fantastic ski day. Nobody here, very cold, but the snow is groomed and perfect. Fresh snow coming down for tomorrow. One of the chair lifts is 75’  from the windows. Just had my first “Bloody Mary”. Perfect.

Great pic...

We do this once every winter, four day weekend. My son is coming up tonight. My wife and I have been skiing together for +50 years. Our kids ski like gods and the G’children are just as good (one of my daughter in laws is a ski instructor). it’s one of the very few things we all do together. Unfortunately our oldest grand daughter is off at Uni. Doesn’t get any better than this…..

Have a great time with your family John.

We had a great couple of days with a January thaw here in the 40°- 50°F but winter weather has returned here in southern NH. It's snowing now, changing over to rain later on then back to snow at the end of the day ending about dinner time.
I'll get down to the shop today and see if I can get a few things done.
