dme... is that a motofizz thermoclock i see? hopefully, yours works better than mine... i have to deduct about 20 degrees if it is sitting in direct sunlight $:-\$

there is a silver rectangular thingamajig on your handlebars that looks like a motofizz thermoclock. (thermometer/clock)

it could also be a digi speedo but, it looks exactly like my motofizz only really out of focus

Ahh, you´re probably referring to the Sigma speedo or my rearview mirrors.....
None of them shows temperature and all of them work fine....

it is very cool but, i don't really understand why they couldn't just incorporate the light into the unit... even if it was a button to push. i think most of us are fairly decent at pushing buttons

Don´t know if the exact model is made anymore, check at your local bicycle shop

Just stay away from the wireless units, they crap out totaly from the electricals and ignition on the bike!

So back to reality, my BMW K1100LT will happily do 130+ Mph with absolute comfort, or my 1981 Suzuki GS1000S will do 145+ Mph, but with no fairing (the factory bikini has been hanging in my garage since I bought the bike) it's a wild, scary ride! Cheers, Terry.

But seriously, you're right mate, I bought the BMW purely as a touring tool for long rides in winter (too hot behind the fairing in a hot Aussie summer, but toasty warm in winter) and it's brilliant, not an ounce of "character", (like most things German) but a quality tool, just like a Bosch drill or Mauser rifle, it has only one function, and does that very well indeed! Fastest bike in my shop (not counting Chrises CR750) is my little Honda RS.

Complete with fairing (sorry Dan I'm a wimp) I am aiming at 1 mph from each cc. (134mph)

The motor is now being built and I hope to have it back real soon.

It is a Honda RS125 GP bike with a big bore cylinder block, out to 134cc.

It should make about 45bhp at the rear wheel and weighs in around 70kgs.

No Dan, it's in the build stage at the moment.

Only the wheels are finished, magnesium 3 spoke Marvics painted black and shod with Bridgstone super soft Battlax slicks, should be nice and grippy

As soon as it's done I will get some pics and if I can find out how to post them I will.

I´ve always had a soft spot for two-strokes, only problem is to fit my 192 centimeters on them....

A mate has a Suzuki RG500 (seized of course

) in the shed and I´m currently trying to convince him that it needs a new home

Would be nice.

10 sec bike in 1/4. She will top out over 160MPH!!!! Still breaking it in, so I have only just been over 105MPH so far.

I'm 5' 7" and weigh the same as the bike, 70kgs but can get down to 65.5kgs when racing (to much beer

The fastest bike in my shop would be my 85 VF750F Interceptor. According to my roomate it breaks 200 km/h with plenty of throttle left to go

1990 Yamaha FZR1000 Exup owned for over 10 years and now with 45,000 miles on the clock. Rebuilt rear end with OEM shock, Ohlins springs up front with Race Tech cartridge fork emulators, rebuilt Exup valve, Sprint 160mm side mount damper plus some other bits and pieces. Had 150mph on the speedo - quite fast enough for me thank you

Not as fast as the 'busa that I borrowed off a mate but still pretty good for an older 'superbike'

That's the one thing I don't really like about it is that it is so big. I had a Mallory magneto hanging off the right side and it made it even bigger. It sure did look cool though.

You're right, that is still quite an impressive ride (at least, in my book). I was just saying that, when it was built, the 900 WAS the big bike and now there are bigger ones. I'd take it over the larger ones that are made now. So, what happened to the mag?

Watch that thing when doing wheelies mate, the frames are known to snap about 6 inches back from the steering head, nasty! Cheers, Terry.

Very nice mate, I've got a couple of ARD MK2 electronic ignitions for Kawa engines, they still look cool like that one, but less bulky, and a lot lighter to boot. Cheers, Terry.

Never heard that. I know these thing are suppose to be the best bad azz stunt bike out there though. I don't do fullish things.......
