If Motorcycles Could Talk
« on: September 05, 2017, 11:04:07 AM »
What would a motorcycle say about it's owner?

Here are some possibile answers, chime in with your own!

"Sometimes he hits me with a hammer, but I must have deserved it."

"He locked me in the shed for months."

"He gets angry, but deep down I know it's cause he loves me."

Why would my owner park me next to a leaky TRACTOR TIRE FULL OF CHLORIDE for years and years?

I am personally thankful that motorcycles can't talk. I do enough screaming inside my own helmet, I don't need it to become a chorus.

Heeeyyy, listen man, Can't you se I'm retired? Keep that trailer away! I've been snuggled up in this attached garage for 20 years man, no crazy folks running me off the road. The mice stay away, no missed gears, sure there might be a little rust ring on a cylinder or two but it's a small price to pay for safety. It's hot and cold and rainy out there, the sun fades my gauges and it's a lot of work going outside, did you see that hill? OK, but my seat is up on the shelf safe and out of the sun, don't leave it behind!
Dammit, he said Sturgis, that's 15 hours from here. I'll bet he has cold wrenches. Hope I at least get a battery and new tires. Aren't those straps a little loose? And that hill still freaks me out.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.
