After a while i have some updates.

Frame has been powder coated.
Going with candy red for the k1, although the side covers will be k0 style.
Steering bearings are in.
Front suspension completely rebuilt with new fork tubes.
Correct handle bars.
Wheels laced, and Tires and have now been installed.
Motor is together, with new piston rings, and a fresh valve job.
Motor is now in the frame as well, will post more pictures.
Cycle X transmission has replaced the original, as well as a cycle x rebuilt oil pump.

Looking for side cover emblems, Handle bar switches and exhaust pipes.

Carbs are now on, my cleanest set was 657A carbs with 110 mains .. once the oil tank is on i would be pretty close to fire this thing for the first time.

I have a couple oil tanks, one is from a k6 that happened to be in the pile .. any chance that would work with the k1 engine ? And if yes, what would the pipe connections look like ?

Yes mate, externally the K1 and K6 oil tanks are the same. Better if you can find a K0 oil tank. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

K1 to k6 are basically the same but the later ones may have an extra breather hose fitting.
KO tanks are horrible expensive.  Though I did see a chrome one with a dent sneak thru cheap on ebay lately..
Maybe, reposition cap on a K1 to K6 tank.,  i should have tanks, was it you looking for centerstands.?
By piping do you mean oil lines? Should be the same till you get into the 77 78 style tanks.

Unfortunately my earliest engine is still a diecast, and i doubt that my frames are sandcast either, i guess i should check that ..LOL

So, last week, in my routine conquest to score more CB parts, specifically HM300 pipes for my current 71, (which i am just about to fire up)
I found a set of pipes, and ended up paying way too much for the bikes.
Originally, i was going to just take the pipes off, and sell the rest, but now i am seeing another future project.  :-\ and i cant seem to let go.
Got a good set of pipes, good front wheel, frame is good, motor has 20,000 miles on it.
Gauges are there, original chrome is great, as the bike sat in a covered barn for the last 25 years.
Frame and tank were reprayed somewhere in the 90's ... Tank is immaculate inside, just had some brake fluid fall on the right side and that stripped some paint.
I might sell that for the right price ... PM me if anyone is interested.

Motor wasnt running great, but a few minutes to fiddle the points, now runs way better, timing was off originally.
It has the finned Points cover, which is up for grabs.
Sissy Bar if anyone wants it, you pay shipping and its yours.
Swing arm has been chromed, and few other brackets ... DONT KNOW WHY
Missing the airbox, but i have one, but i DO need airbox boots ... if anyone has spare ones, please PM me, i will even take the rock hard ones, as well as intake boots.
Front fender is super fantastic.
Tail light lens has been ruined by a crystal ..LOL

Here, it is after coming home.

Missing the center stand, and may be someone messed around with the side stand as well, seems too short. Vin is 1085****
If you need something off of this, wouldnt hurt to ask .. i am not sure of what i want to do with it yet.

Around 98 or do I put a sandcast together. I justvwent to Honda and ordered new bars. They likely had small differences.  Maybe see if they still can supply them.

Look here...#25-0126
https://www.vintagecb750.com/products/2/chassis-brakes/63/handlebars
The ones i have are from there :)
But since i picked up my other k1, which has the original bars on it, i kinda like those.
They seem to have more rise than the ones i got, width is about the same, even pull back is about the same.
I was wondering if anyone knew a place, which sold exact replicas. If not then i will keep what i have i guess
