any creative idea on how to mount a cb 750 tach on this triple tree?

Have some bungs welded underneath that you can screw a bracket into. Could mount to the forks for something a bit different as well.

this is what i would do also.

or source another top tree to chop up, but keep the original clock bracket mounts.

i don't have any welding skill

Has to be a local fabrication shop that has welding capability. If you had it all set it shouldnt be more than $10 or so to weld them on.

Drill it and countersink a pair of stainless steel button head bolts through it. Only if it's thick enough.

Maybe get a set of double ended studs to replace the pinch bolts on the top tree.

How big a tach? On Duc singles they mounted to the side, held on by fork cap.

It's the CB 750 Tach, so quite big

The upper bolts can be longer and hold a bracket too.

this is the idea i'm going to follow..i'll make a bracket that would hold the original tach in between the two bolts
