I thought there was a scars thread here somewhere but I can't find it.

Is that all, caave? You're such a rookie.  ;D :P I have more than that on just my leg. It's a good thing Kit thinks scars are cool.  :D

I have a dent in my forehead where my little brother accidentally hit me with a driver when I was in 2nd grade.  I think it explains a lot.

Got to get moving. Kit's parents will be here in 75 min. Off to the Japanese Gardens and a bunch of other portland type of places. Tomorrow.... Silver Falls State Park. Lots of falls and a few yo can walk behind. They are massive. Hopefully to the beach on Fri. I'm pushing that direction, anyway. I'm a beach bum.  ;)

Mickey, stop sandbaggin'! just one little picture would be rad.

I don't have that many real scars.  I have a 2" long one above my knee from a wood carving incident, a couple on my hands I don't remember, one on my knee from a really nasty bicycle crash on gravel, a 'tattoo' from where my sis stabbed me in the palm with a pencil, a finger that has the wrinkles on the back of the knuckle lookin' weird because I had stitches back there (full depth cut, eww) and displaced costal cartilage from other rough housing with my sister. (it crinks and pops on my ribs when I move, but you can't really reattach it, so... it just does that.

yay!

Those are just the big burns miss. I've got a lot of lil'uns not to mention the cuts, those are far more glorious than the burns.

I grew up with this kid that had a huge hole in his forehead and he used to say he ran into the VCR when he was a kid, turns out it was ring worm and he kept picking at it... gross.

I would say I miss the beaches in California, but I've been to Japan and really after you've spent an entire day on a white sand beach with a jungle directly behind you... La Jolla seems like an arm pit.

damn hard ass is right :O

sadly my scar with the best story is gone .... i had a 2inch slit on the inside of my bottom lip ... got kicked in the face , and my teeth went though my lip .... knocked out cold .....  i even did the stereotypical "what happened , is this my blood ...... OUCHY"      10 stitches in the mouth , a headache that lasted 2 days

yeah , that guy cleaned my clock for real ... but it was a cheap shot ;)

it seems your mouth heals pretty fast , that scar lasted about 5 or 6 years

Apparently I have to go by and see goon tomorrow on lunch to pick up some "goodies" for us spikey.
Is your dog a boy or girl or dogs or are they outside and inside or, or or, My dog sucks at interacting with other dogs, If you have a yard and a room we can put the kennel in, that would be ideal. He's not mean, he just has nuts and wants to hump everyone. I don't want you to remember my trip up there as, "Man, she's cool, but her dog is a fcking prick!"

No my dog is fine with the kennel.
Generally what happens is, the females ignore him until they've had enough then he backs down, and males are like "stick that thing out at me again and I'll bite your face off"
My dog got his ass kicked by the latter about a month ago. Poor guy. Just doesn't know when to quit.  :D
I figure they can get acquainted outside and if it doesn't work he can be kenneled most the time. I tried finding a baby sitter, but it's more of a hassel than it's worth. Plus he loves the car.  ;D
I'm not letting a dog keep me from CHICAGO!!!!!!! I really wanted to ride, but.....It would take FOREVER and I have to be back monday at the latest.....

Dookie
It's supposed to rain @ 6. She'll prolly just give me some lame excuse about why she can't come.
If it is NOT raining, I want to go to bike night tonight.  Do you know if I have to have a running light, legally here?

Nice Sharkbite, Mickey.  :o

Nice scar on my knee is when I took a spill on some rocks when doing some solo bouldering up at Cliif drive downtown.

The other good scar is on my head when I made the game-saving tackle on a 300 pound lock. I knew the only way I was going to take him down is if I went ankle low and he tried to hurdle me and he booted me with his spikes right in my skull. Saved the try but had to come out because I immediately looked like a mass-murder victim, blood all over the place.

I thought running light was 50 state law?

I cannot remember.

I have a couple of bullet scars and some bird shot peppering plus a stab wound or two but nothing as big or near as #$%*ing hard as your leg Mickey. Damn it looks like it hurt.

Might not make an evening Friday ride. Spike you gonna be around during the day? I could run Ink's shocks out to you then.

Wow, you have the weather down to the exact hour? NWS says no rain.

You need turn signals and a stop lamp in Kansas.
It didn't say anything about running lights. I think your plate has to be illuminated so as to be visible from 250-500 feet or something like that.

If you are coming from st.louis area or anywhere south of IOWA there are faster ways to get to chicago.

I meant Headlight sorry my bad. I thought it was 50 state law to have a headlight on at all times. Plate lights are law here but almost no one follows it if they ride a customized anything.

Same for signals.

I have a tag light, and brake light and turn signals and a headlight, but, my brake light doesn't double as a running light, didn't know if that was an issue.
If ben and dozer are coming I'm coming up I35 n - I80 E to I-88 to I-39 N into rockford.

Hmmm... you might want to make a call to the DMV in Mission to talk to the State Trooper inspector to see what they say. Don't bother asking your local yokel, they have no idea about anything but where all the donut shops and speed zones are in Shawnee.

I have no idea about a running brake light. I like to have mine illuminated when I can to give the cagers something else to see before they plow me off the road.
