Wow, what a shame, I just turned 60 and in the last month I've found out that two of my best mates from school have died, and a workmate from my time in Canberra rang me to tell me he's been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and the prognosis is not good. Oddly enough I volunteered for the "Long Ride" in October to raise money for PC research only a week or so before he told me. I had prostate surgery in 2018, but it wasn't cancerous, unlike a couple of my friends here.
When my uncle died in 2009, my mate said to my dad "I bet you know more folks under the ground, than on top of it?" Which was a bit harsh, but true. Sadly, at only 60, I'm in the same way, which is weird, considering that folks are living longer.
