Hi Guys long time. Any of you old goats still alive?

Funny Story, one of the guys who had a hand in this original build back in 1977 i just phoned me and may want to buy it from me. Friend of a friend saw a post here and emailed him. I just got off the phone with him. Great bike story.  8) 8) 8) 8)

Wow, what a shame, I just turned 60 and in the last month I've found out that two of my best mates from school have died, and a workmate from my time in Canberra rang me to tell me he's been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and the prognosis is not good. Oddly enough I volunteered for the "Long Ride" in October to raise money for PC research only a week or so before he told me. I had prostate surgery in 2018, but it wasn't cancerous, unlike a couple of my friends here.

When my uncle died in 2009, my mate said to my dad "I bet you know more folks under the ground, than on top of it?" Which was a bit harsh, but true. Sadly, at only 60, I'm in the same way, which is weird, considering that folks are living longer. (flu victims excluded) All the best with your bike sale Derek, post a pic to remind us all of how nice it looked. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Im getting old and forgetful.   Trying to order piston seals.
Can anyone tell me what front brakes (year) are on my bike? Page10, 11, 12
I thought they were 78 but the piston seal I got was to big and it sure doesn’t look like a 72.
mounting holes ate 1 6/8" apart not 2".

Thanks

Just going off pics...I didn't read #$%*.  Those are either from 75-76 750F, 77-78 750k, (all the same with a bigger than earlier piston)....or?....a cb550.
If it works good, it looks good...
