Well, I am still planning on going. I have to travel in June to be at my nephew's wedding in NE TN and then up just north of Boston for his big sister's grad from medical Residency program the following weekend/Friday. So, I will be travelling a bit back in that area. Hey Mooshie, gonna be coming over near you in April sometime... let me know when would be good to meet and hang out a little while. Send me some email. I will bring a collection of BRP and Smokies and NE TN touristy brochures and recent VA and TN state road maps to plot hard paths or alternate things if you aren't done planning by then for your BRP adventure.

I am waiting to hear back from Danny I sent him a PM (I think it went through) looking at anytime in September from early to week of 14th.  Didn't know how long the reunion would last so that should factor in but my plan is just to get there however that pans out (trailer with David, ship it, or once again ride across boring parts of USA to get to fun parts of USA  ;D)

Danny did you get my PM?

Hi Lisa,

Yes, I did get your message. I am open as to time, but in the interest of trying to herd the cats, I would propose Tues 9/8- Thurs 9/10 as the official meetup dates at the campground in North Carolina. Since the 7th is Labor Day, when most people are off, and it gives people 3 days of travel time without needing to use vacation and then ending on a Thursday means only needing 1 additional vacation day to travel home.  Choosing weekdays also makes it more likely that the cabins will be available for rent and probably makes them a bit cheaper.

I will personally plan to wrap extra vacation around this time and spend a few days before or after at my uncle's in South Carolina like I did last summer.

That sounds fine to me Danny.  So should we get a poll started so people can get their names in? I don't know how far in advance we have to book sites at that cabin.  Let me know how I can help

Why don't you make at the end of September?  Virginia has riding weather all the way to the end of October or longer - unlike Chicago :)

I haven't decided at this point.  Going to see how this all pans out and figure it our in May or June  ;)
Part of me does not want to do that again (Kansas is grueling) but then it did have its charm (but not Kansas-- ;D)

Mooshie, I am still planning on going and my offer to you will stand just email me or call me and we can discuss things and firm up plans for stops along the way. Won't be in Cooper S, F250 will be towing the bike(s).

LMAO. I had a bike with me at AMA Vintage Days and in Chattanooga in August but the Dyna2000 took a #$%* on me. If that's all there is to it (my luck can't be that good) I received the replacement the day before I left and I just have to hook it up. Probably just jinxed myself......

Contextual anyone who isn't aware of Jerry's main domicile now that he retired is now no longer in the USA... Thus his comments about the bike and getting her ready and addressing the issues so he can arrive with his CB...
So, if you hadn't seen where Jerry mentioned that fact ..then you would be highly confused.

I think the reason BankerDanny and Mooshie were coordinating their schedules is that Mooshie is reknown for her distance travelling and her motorcycle adventures. Her "Dash" is a cafe CB550 with a fresh motor and coming off her injury she's eating <<autocorrect misspelling<  itching to get back out there. She has done lots of rides, even globally...just not on Dash for those. So, most anyone on the forums who knows of her adventures respects her and her true motorcyclist drive. So, for Danny whom has been a logistical planner and coordinator for the Reunion and Don't recall if he was for the Godzilla, Pimpzilla, And Lefty's World your adventures he is our Julie the Cruise Director of entertainment and activities (The Love Boat reference) or the Ring Master of our little circus. Lisa plans her rides years out as far as location goes...just not the details of it.

Hope that's helpful.

Don't believe Danny and Mooshie are star crossed lovers, far from it...

Just to stir the pot a bit - David

Danny has already met Mooshie at the first reunion in CO. For me, it was the second time for both her and Fatmatt, as I had met them both on the 2nd relay. I also got to meet Jerry, Greg, Frank, Terry, Joe, Gene, Bud, Bucky, and I can't recall who else for the first time, even though we've conversed online for years.
I'm looking forward to seeing Lisa again, as well as David, who I haven't seen since the first relay in 2011. ;D ;D

Ha ha.  Thanks David and Scott for protecting my honor  :)  truth be told I have crushes on all the SOHC fellows!  And 70CB750 I have met Danny and his infamous moonshine on the 1st reunion and have ridden Godzilla on each of his rides (each Godzilla I might add--now if FattMat will ever return him to me is another question!).  I really don't want to dictate the time of this reunion so if others have a different time then I'm going (as long as it isn't too late into the year as riding back to CA can be a bit of a hassle).  Luckily, David is going to trailer and I'm hitching to his ride to TN so that takes out about 1500 miles of my ride which is a pleasure.  I am looking forward to seeing old faces again and meeting new ones.  Arm is almost healed and Dash is almost ready but he will be ready for the reunion!

He loved that place.  I didn't think we were ever going to get him out!  Even the burned out Norton out front fascinated him.

Man did I screw up not going with you, my other regret is I did not stay another night, because the guy from Tasmania showed up after we all left.
I left a note for Matt on the Gram on his shop page, but have not heard back..
