Just a reminder to the owners of the bikes polled.  Feel free to post any additional photos and a summary of your build "story" (what you started with, what you did, what specialty parts and services you incorporated, what was your goal).  I just post the available finished photos when I format the poll.

A few more pictures.  Now I know what folks mean by “it’s never done!” Recently re-did the graphics on the tail cowl for crisper edges and replaced the failing starter/headlight switch as well as the front turn signals.
The most fun and satisfying modifications on this project were the primary chain tensioner/deep oil sump described by “bwhaller”, porting the head, building the seat, making the new rear frame brace and refining all the frame welds before paint, laying up the fiberglass cowl and figuring out the squish/quench dimension before decking the cylinders.
I got the Raask bars (sometimes called Jota style as in Laverda Jota) with the other parts of the basket case.  The PO had them for many years before he passed them on to me.  They make fine tuning the riding position easy and this bike is very comfortable.  I used bar risers for clearance to get to the fork air pre-load valves which moves things up a bit but running the bars level gives a nice line AND makes for comfy riding position.
This forum is why I chose to embark on this project, it took all the anxiety out of the engine building and tuning phase to have such a wealth of information at my fingertips.  Thank you to all who share their hard earned experience so freely.  I wish the rest of society was as cooperative and selfless!  Cheers

I missed out on seeing these being up for the Bike of The Month and, from seeing them now, I would probably STILL be trying to decide which one to vote for!!!!!!!!!

Just wondered, has there ever been a month where there wasn't a clear winner? I mean, there are a lot of mighty fine rides on this forum, that I have seen, over the years & I sure am glad that it wouldn't be up to ME, to choose one, over another, in a case like this. This forum has always had & I guess always will have, some Really Awesome Builds & I, for one, am always amazed at the details in them.  ;)

Yes and i am actually speechless about that.  :) Thank you very much for all your votes, much appreciated.

I may have to add, that i changed the bar and turn signals the last days in order to get a more aggressive line. So here is the acutal status quo. Hope you still like it :) Of course i can always rebuild to original handlebar in about an hour.

And here is a short video with the new bar and old turn signals.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQTazOJjsw4&t=26s

And cheers to all the other fine builds, that would have also deserved the win :)

Love this bike especially the colour, but put some Renthal 'Superbike' bars on.  Your back & wrists will thank you. ;)

Thanks Tintop.  ;D For now, i will stick with this m-bar for while. I really like the aggressive look in combination with the oldschool bar end signals and driving fast has never been more fun with these bar.
My back and wrists must handle the burden at least these summer and then, next season, i may change to a more comfortable bar.

Cheers :)
