The section of Illinois we live in is self described as Forgottonia. Our tax money leaves and they forget that we need infrastructure too. We even have a newspaper, the Forgottonia times.

I bought a new comb at the barber shop even though I'm bald on top. I told the barber I still carry a comb. I just can't part with it.

Caution WNBA reference in the next joke.

I keep trying to buy Angle Reese swag online, but it won't go in the basket.

We were walking through my car show yesterday when we looked at the engine in a Corvair. My brother's grandson spotted a deep socket laying in the crossmember under the engine. We pointed it out to the owner, and I predicted that it was a 10mm. He said no, there weren't any metric bolts in a Corvair, I agreed but said it's still a 10mm, I was wrong, it was 11mm. He gave it to the kid.

And here I thought the Corvair was just ahead of its time: isn't that the [metric] socket for all of it's 0.25" nuts?

We (my car club) put on a car cruise for a local older folks association, (OAKS) since we just brought the cars and the music, we were allowed to buy 50/50 and raffle tickets. I won an electrically heated black jacket, it didn't include the charger, but my wife has one and her charger seems to fit it. Win #1.
My wife won diamond earrings, if you hold them up to the sun just right you can see the diamond in there. Win #2. I didn't win the 50/50 so I didn't get to donate my 50% back to the organization, but we wrote them a car club check for $500. Win #3
An older lady saw me and said "hello handsome man", she obviously has poor vision.

A female reporter recently followed a Chinese spy balloon for 150 miles before she realized it was bird poop on her windshield.
