Divorce settlement explains a lot. He likely sold what inventory he had on hand.
It was really messy actually, his wife took control of the workshop and all of the equipment, plus some customers engines, and sold everything, so he had guys chasing him to get their stuff back, of which he had no control. I hope that he's gonna get back to doing all the stuff he did before that fiasco, because he's a brilliant engineer.
The cast iron discs are great, and I used his main bearings in my K0 engine build, and years ago he back cut some gears for me, but I never used them, they sat in a box for years until I sold all my hotrod engine stuff to some young guys here who were building a drag bike. I'd definitely recommend his work, and hopefully the divorce settlement dramas are behind him now and he can make a success of it.
