Rolled it out into the sun for the first time. Wow, the new gold paint pops!

Still have to adjust the throttle cables and bleed the front brakes then it's pretty much ready for a test ride.

Nice K2! It’s become my favorite of all the CB750s. I like all the little unique K2 details. Flash vs turn, turn signals mount the headlight on chrome ears, white tank letters on painted tank, gauges etc. Wish I had an original seat like you.

Wow, Sorry it has been so long. Had a medical issue, got sidetracked, worked on other things, finished the bike, worked on different other things then remembered this thread.

I have been riding the bike for a while now. It runs great and is my favorite thing. I love riding it in the evening and early in the morning on weekends.

What a beauty!
What rear shocks are those? The straight-wound springs are great for handling on this bike, especially with loads aboard and curves ahead.
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

They are the Koni 76F-1296 shocks with a build date of 8/1974. The springs are marked with Yellow/Blue/Yellow stripes, whatever that means. I had them gone through and they seem to work great.

Wow, great job!
Nice bike!

Thanks,
Unfortunately, the reason I am back onto the bike right now is the fact I'm getting it ready to sell. I'm in the process of moving and where I am going I would only be able to ride it for a few months out of the year versus the all year riding I can presently do in SoCal. It makes more sense to sell it to someone who can ride it more often. I don't want it to turn into a garage queen.

You might regret a sale later on.
Your bike looks really good.

I parked my CB750 K6 late September 1990. Other interests and friends/girlfriends.
It was stored in a friend's barn until late September 2009 when I took it home. Now living alone in a house with a warm dry garage part of the house.
Started to work on engine 2010. Mostly took apart to inspect.
The real restore 2012--->.
Back on the street 2014. Constant rebuilds and updates since then.

I'm really happy I never sold it. I have lots of memories with it. Especially between my 18-28 years old.

It might be easier for you if you have mostly spent time bringing it back to a good looking bike people will talk about when parked for a coffee or lunch. Their memories from the 70's-80's ;)

Possible to trace the bike in vehicle register and contact an eventual owner to buy it back?

Not possible here in the states Per. Registration doesn't stay with the vehicle and most states didn't enter the pre computer days Registration and tile information into the computer. And I didn't keep any of the information when I sold mine as I had made my decision not to ride again, back then....
Since getting back to riding in 2010, I have put on over 300,000 miles on multiple bikes.

The  plate is part of the bike registration here in Sweden. It follows the bike,  cars etc.
If remember the licence plate,  docs or photos,  enter the number on a webpage and the owner data will be sent to you as SMS.
A little bit too easy. Bad people can follow up a vehicle's owner, only thing is the phone number.. No ID needed.

Yeah, I know but circumstances pretty much dictate I wont be able to ride it much if at all in the foreseeable future. I would rather it go to someone and be on the road than to keep it myself as a garage queen.

I just took a ton of pics and a few videos and submitted them to BaT. If they accept it I think it should go live sometime in the coming week. Not the best time to sell one of these but I didn't do it for the money so it will sell for whatever the market says.

Whoever gets it should be pretty happy.

Is there still a two month lead time for the listing to go live?

I think once the photos are submitted and all the details accepted they can run it pretty quickly. We sold a car on there last month and it went live within a couple days of all the details furnished.

I just got the email that it has been officially accepted for listing (which isn't a given) and they are going over pics and details right now. Hopefully should happen within the next week or so. I'm not super hopeful on what price I can expect, the last one to sell there didn't set the world on fire. (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1975-honda-cb750-37-2/)

Interesting thing on that bike is is sold 3 times on BaT, for approx $2K less each time!

Did you set a reserve? I know that try to discourage that.
