Waiting for another season.
Bike is OK, no more mods except for eventual carb adjustments after dyno, right?

Seems to be working fine now. I'll be posting up the best of the last 2 months of "shop time". I'll also be starting a new thread for my CB77 restoration/slight mod. In the instructions for this thread, the moderator says non SOHC 4 are OK.

That's right. There are things that could be done. But, no real plans.

That's the idea. Here's some more, kind of old news now but may be interesting to some of you.

Here's "kilroy was here" shot of the degree wheel.

Here's shots of the micrometer mounted on the engine:

Buttoned up:

We've started it and rode it around. Seeing no leaks, we've parked it till we can get it to a dyno again. On to the CB77. I'll post a link.
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,185360.0.html
Bruce and Joe will be in on this as well (I don't get around much in my wheelchair, thank goodness for friends). Joes got a CB77 too.
Mine will not carry the qualifier RestoMod, as it will be as stock as I can manage.

Thanks for asking. Motorcycle wise, I've parked Phaedrus for the time being. It is complete in a manner of speaking. It is sans the frame kit, needs an oil change, general cleanup. But its parked inside, climate controlled (to an extent). I'm thinking that the Ducati store that had the DYNO we were using has closed shop, and that was about the only thing we could look forward to. Since I can't ride.

I've moved on to restoring a 68 CB77 Super Hawk. http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,185360.msg2146437.html#msg2146437
It's completely stripped. I'll have the frame and tins powder coated to mimic the Honda white, which was its original color. Do an external cleanup on the engine and nail it back together. We've been working on it every Sunday, missed only a few for various reasons. I haven't posted any update for several weeks, I'll get back to that soon.

Health wise:
By we I mean CBJoe and build buddy Bruce have done nearly everything. I am wheelchair bound. When I get out in the shop, I can stand, alongside the lift and hold parts, turn around and get tools from the toolbox, etc. I can walk where I have something to hold on to. So, we've screwed handholds into nearly everything, the lift, the workbench, the woodwork, etc. I'm not allowed out there unless I'm accompanied by an adult capable of rendering assistance should I fall. CBJoe has an ulterior motive in that he is restoring a CB77 also. So we can share some resources, brain storm problems, etc. Bruce just likes to have something to look forward to after a hard week at his successful chiropractic clinic. Goin on 12 years!  But literally, I'd be dead in the water without them.

The neurologist initially said I have peripheral neuropathy.  My symptoms seem to confirm this, pins and needles and numbness in legs, feet, hands, and internal muscles. Eric Clapton has this. https://mccannltc.net/news/eric-clapton-peripheral-neuropathy-may-end-career-and-more  (I have tinnitus too)

But, additional symptoms led the neurologist to suspect Parkinson's. So I take dopamine. I don't have the tremors most associated with Parkinson's, but I have a lot of other things. Which is leading the docs to think I have MSA (multiple system atrophy) which is like a slow ALS. I just tell people I have Parkinson's cause its easier than explaining the other.  They are all about the same except PN and PD are not considered terminal (you die with Peripheral Neuropathy, or Parkinson's, not because of them.)  Often death is the result of a fall, which may not have occurred without the presence of PN  or PD.    https://mccannltc.net/news/eric-clapton-peripheral-neuropathy-may-end-career-and-more    ALS is terminal.  They all, with others, are considered in the neuro/degenerative group of diseases. No cure, little treatment. But Michael J Fox  is going on 30 years with his PD.

I am lucky that nothing I have is causing me any pain. Other than the pain of not being able to ride.  I get pins and needles, but I wouldn't classify that as pain.  I attend "Rock Steady Boxing" class 3 times a week via ZOOM. There are 14+ people in my class, and its a good support group. I have to have someone handy to brace me when I stand to punch and shadow box. And I'm still working full time at my little business which I can run from a chair. My wife, and Bruce and Joe are tremendous care givers. We'll just keep doing what we're doing and I'll try to get back to routine updates.

Thanks for asking!   :D

What about a trike, Ron?
Is it possible to make one without seat, you just roll on to it, lock your chair on bike and ride?

Park where you need, unlock your chair and do your shopping, restaurants, cafes, bike meets and all needed when possible.
A chair on wheels with electrical motor will widen your area and off road areas.

Thanks for the suggestion, it sounds good, but isn't attractive to me after thinking about it. I read an article comparing a Spyder to a motorcycle. The author was let with the conclusion that the only thing a trike does like a motorcycle, is that when you ride it in the rain, you get wet, in both cases.

I don't have the skill and ability to make one myself, especially now. And the money to have one built would be too much.

But another more important point is that it would worry my care giver (wife) way too much to have me trolling around on my own. If I were to have any sort of problem, I wouldn't be able to handle it by myself. Falling in any manner, out of my chair, would be catastrophic. She could go with me, but her motorcycling days are behind her. She'd rather take the van. It freaks her out just to see me drive up and down the ramp, she holds her breath and crosses her fingers every time.

Not wanting to be a Debbie Downer, but I have to look at it practically.

But thanks for thinking of it.

I'm sure my wife will be worried when I'm getting closer to the 70's and riding my 70's bike!!

Wrenching on a bike is a fun hobby. This project has been ongoing for a while, Ron!
Here a historical work restoring old forgotten ones back to their glory and more.

My K6 has been my project since I bought it early 1979, stored end of 1990-2009.
Slow project started 2010, back on the road 2014. It has been upgraded constantly after its comeback.
It was upgraded every year from the very beginning! ;D
As most people did, so much different parts to buy.

I'll look for your other project.
