I need a single 37" brake hose w/ 2 different banjo fittings for each end.
I can't recall the member who posted a while back, but do remember them saying it is a good resource for a fair price.
The member who posted(right here in the USA)said it was a simple process of contacting the seller and the brake hose was on the way to them;the seller's info had been shared with other members.

I know the size I'm looking for and just don't want to continue hunting for it online.

There are DIY kits mentioned here before.
No more details though.

I ordered my last sets in custom lenghts from the Netherlands.

Oh really ?   I'm looking for here in the US where I live.

I remember reading posts from other members describing this individual who was located in their town and what good service they have, about a year+ ago.

It's been so long I don't remember the details about this build, but I remember using GOODRIDGE for my brake lines and fittings.  That's about all I have, but doing a Google search turns up a lot of possibilities.

Raymond has been suppling me hoses for bikes and race cars for many (very many)years. Check out the GL1000 posts by Johnie. He just used him and was delighted. Great service and FAST. i lay old hoses on a sheet of cardboard and use a felt pen to draw in dimensions. Add a few photos of the ends and Raymond delivers what you want. Colours too if you want something different! Apex Brakes has a website.

A person on another forum did some online hunting and found a silver one of 37.4" long w/ the correct ends;cheap China, but maybe it will hold-up and be a trust worthy, safe part?  ::)

The ends are rigidly attached;I was hoping to find one with removable ends but this is the only one that has turned-up yet..  I can keep searching.

I’m guessing about $20 for a single hose. I’m sure Raymond would quote you first.

I bought brake lines from AliExpress when I changed the handlebars on my Morini 3 1/2 Sport. My mechanic brother-in-law checked the crimps and reckoned they were pretty good quality. These ones are slightly different to the ones I ordered, as the connectors are removable:

Bill...order through the website, you dont have to call.  And IIRC, the last hoses I received from him were shipped from NY, I believe he is close to the border. Shipping was quick too.

I highly recommend Venhill USA. I have used their lines on two of my bikes plus my buddy's F3. He offers multiple lengths and colors and uses screw on ends in a variety of bends. They come from Texas and I have always got them in a few days.

Oh,you have personal experience calling Venhill in Tx. and a good outcome;are they the ones who produce or distribute the lines ?

Hey Danny...I've never heard of them, a quick search shows that they are near me in Austin...

Since I've always been happy with Apex, never looked for another vender.   Wonder if they would do the oil lines? I may give them a visit...thx

While I was trying to figure out the best source,a member from another forum found a line that should fit,so I ordered it.

I wanted black,plus I wanted removable ends.
I appreciate you members helping me because now I know of better options than this one;the red ends aren't what I like, plus from what I see the braided stainless steel is open and I want covered/sealed so it won't rub on the bike and cause abrasion.

The removable ends are handy as they allow the orientation of the ends to be adjusted. Important as the over braid on the hose prevents it from twisting.

As an FYI, APEX will cover their hoses with any colour vinyl. I always get black. The OD is still smaller than stock rubber hoses, but it’s less obvious and prevents the hose from sawing through other stuff!

I could change the length of the hose for different bars, etc. when needed and keep the ends the same.

Based on my communication with him, he carries a stock of pre-made lines in various lengths and colors, so they are not true custom. However, he carries a wide range so getting the size that works has not been a problem. When you order you specify the length and what ends you want. The ends include new banjo bolts and washers. The screw on ends come in various bends. Looking at his website he has expanded his product range compared to when I first got lines from him almost 7 years ago now.
