Actual name of these falls is the Pissing Mare Falls. The height is 2000 ft from the water. Hard to see the scale when there is nothing to compare it to.

Its an amazing park. The water is totally from snow and rainwater and is so clear from contaminants that the water pumps in the tour operators building would not pump correctly as they need ions to detect flow. Normal lakes of this volume would flush the water 6-8 times per year. This lake takes 15 years for one.

Today I had to go get a blood draw so I rode the 84' Sabre 700S. I took the long way since it is such a nice day, light clouds and 75°. It was 74 miles total for ride number 10.

Thanks, it is a very comfortable bike especially after the suspension mods I have done. It's every bit as comfortable as the Concours. 8)

Nice one @Kelly E!

Ride #8 for me this evening, 56.8 miles
I headed north on NH121 to a Sub Shop a friend recommended, I didn't order anything this time but I'll visit again soon. All of my favorite rides are far away and I need to find some nearer destinations.

#72 was 140km. up to La Scie for the last day of Crabfest. Forest fires, smoke, heat and humidity are really effecting our choice of destinations. The next week looks like more of the same.

What’s the temperature like out there? Last time I visited Gros Morne Park, that water fall was running so hard it was shooting straight out at the top and then all evaporate before it hit the base. Really amazing place!

I got in #15 today, testing the new chain and sprockets on the 750K3. Ran smoothly but headed home earlier than planned. +90F around 2:00 pm with blistering sunshine….. no rain for over two weeks. Farmers around here took in record amounts of grain, but the soy beans are starting to suffer. We need some real moisture soon!

We are going back into the heat wave here in NH also, also 2 weeks no rain and another week forecast without rain at this point.
I was noticing the hay fields today aren't growing much after the cutting a month ago.

Low 90s here today, 71 overnight low: things don’t cool off.
Electric bill nearly double from last July due to AC use.
Our home had no AC for many years, cooled by whole house fan.
High efficiency AC uses less than the whole house fan.
Smoke gone for now.

Ride # 4 is done, it is #10 by count but because of reporting tardiness it only counts as 4. 74 miles.

Speedway, state championship round 2 was the theme and it was awsome! It was a great show, both on the track and in the stands. As it turned out the first crash of the night was a woman taking a tumble about 2 rows in front of us! She had not opened her beer yet, so no Modelo was harmed in this incident 😳.

It was an absolutely awsome night of racing and ran overtime.  I can't believe that the season is almost over. The rider that my buddy sponsors took 3rd place in the final. There were 5 heat races and he finished with 3 first and 2 second places to boost his point standing.

I left home about 6:15 and the temp was 92°f. Traffic was wide open , so 70 to 80 mph the whole way there. Got home about 11:30 and it was down to 75°f or so. One thing on the plus side was they re-paved the offramp that takes me to the track. It used to look like where they teach the road crews how to make tar snakes, now it is smooth as silk and doesn't require a panic stop to exit the freeway!

Anyhoo I'm still alive and still riding. My commuter miles for the week are 465. Now some pics.

#22 Sön 10 /8 198km Skinnskatteberg - Fagersta- Engelsberg- Salbohed- Haraker....

Better weather, no rain nor high humidity. Temp around 20-21*C. Mostly sunshine. A few clouds that blocked sun time to time.

Finally a ride. First time this year for a burger in Skinnskatteberg.
I prefer smooth rides nowadays when bike runs very fine. No need of close to death carb jetting test rides ;D

An inverted drink stop in Engelsberg burned down forest 2014. Alaska look a like in fall ;D

#16 today. Monthly CVMG meeting in Port Hope. Our president has quite the stash of bikes in his shed and several more in the workshop. That’s a 1928 Triumph in the back of the second pic. The owner said is was starting to “tighten up” as he pulled into the driveway.

Excellent BBQ but way too hot for riding gear……  the K3 ran flawlessly and I pushed it hard on the way back. Straight into the pond when I got home.

#9 for me today, 60.4 miles. About 90°F today, a few degrees cooler at the coast.
I rode east on MA-113 and 133 from Haverhill, through Groveland, Georgetown, Rowley, Ipswich and Essex to Gloucester to snap a few photos at the Fishermen's Memorial then headed for a cold drink and back home. Traffic was heavy for the first half mile, lots of bikes and hot rods in slow parade. Road conditions were above average with new pavement in a few areas.

Ride #19  83 miles   78f @ 1045 departure    90f at 2pm return

There’s a cooling storm front on the way. I don’t know when it will be here, later today? tonight? tomorrow?
to cool this place off. So I went this morning not soon enough to beat the afternoon heat. After lunch I folded my coat and stashed it in my tailbag.

Arriving home this 8? pointed guy with felt was sauntering from the ravine towards the apple tree in the backyard a couple doors down.

Today was the 12th 90f day this year, the average is 13 per year.

My almost stock K2 with Yamiya no numbers 4-4 without the flow disturbing "padding" around the diffusers are a little louder when cruising in even speed, about 100-130kmh than my 970cc K6  with the 4-2-1 Hindle ;D
