New from British Columbia
« on: October 08, 2007, 12:03:44 PM »
Hi, I live in Kelowna BC....for 50+ years.

Have always had a 750 since about 74.

From an early 69 to a 76 Montreal cop bike (single instrument) My green 73 I have had since spring of 76.

Have a few projects from 14 HD to Ducati single250 to a wierd bunch of motors and memorabilia.

Machinist, have my own shop, but have lately worked for other shops.

Enjoy street..err.meant drag racing, my 836cc was built about 25 yrs back, finally blew it up a week ago, but it did take me on a last ride to Bonnevile bike week 2000 miles. About 15 yrs longer than I thought it would last!!!

Have a buddy that is really into 750,s has a 1080cc plus stroker crank that is not yet installed.

Reason I joined, I saw the 750,s at Bonneville thread and figured joining up may help me find some parts I need..luke 900 kit, and Carrillo rods.. is what I need the worst..

Matt I think it is on the show you watched, A Kawi from here is shown ..first the NOS bottle (he didnt use ), then shows him making a run... ran 176 on the Run What ya Brung (short track)

Anyway , I really like this site..

and I AM STOKED that I GOT the &%$...LOL..754..username..

always called them that cuz the sidecover emblem on 71 & 72.. in fact I peeled the Billboard emblems off my 73 and put the script and diamond back in...

Welcome from Seattle.  Beautiful country up there.  The craziest white-knuckle plane ride I've ever taken was from Kamloops back to Seattle on a twin prop Horizon flight.  It gets windy through there.
