You notice,though, the key thing with the bikes is to have the coordinated outfit to match the bike so that you look cool while you look foolish... ::)

There was one there linked 'Special Forces and dumb driver'.  THAT brought back bad memories.  Those sort of accidents are real hazards of training that most folks don't hear about.  Often a combination of lack of familiarity with equipment and a bit of hubris.

There is a thin oil surface on new tires. Always start off slow for quite a few miles.
I take sand paper to my new ones before I even get on to ride ;D

And yes..........I fell over years ago on my Seca 900 in front of the shop ::)  Isn't 1st hand experience a great teacher ;D

I saw it happen to a guy riding from a dealers on a TL1000 Suzuki, it was a write off.

Can you imagine at the insurance company when reading his claim form.
