But seriously, if you've never driven a '69-'74 Ford Econoline.... you probably wouldn't like it.Imagine a few meters of soggy pasta......now imagine the soggy pasta connecting the steering wheel to the front wheels.if the trans was a stick, the shift linkage would be worse.there was a thread a while back where someone was commenting on loose steering in a pickup of similar vintage - they got nothing on the vans.
Actually I like Twingles, my cousin has a couple of Puch twingle "projects" that I'm thinking of "inheriting".............
Not doing what you can to make your bike ride-able during the best riding months of the year kind of defeats the purpose of owning it in the first place.
