Scan the magazine page at 300 dpi (full resolution) with the Descreen filter on (very important).

Then bring the image into an image editing program ~ try Picasa it's free.  Then downsample the image to 72 dpi, crop, and resize.  Sometimes this is called a save for web feature.

Thanks UnCrash, I will give that a try.

Back a few pages Hondaman mentioned the Benelli six (Sei) so I thought to show a picture. Ironic that these Italians copy the Honda four then in turn add two cylinders before Honda ever got around to it.

I love the frame on this Bakker Honda.

Seems to me that if this is an inspiration post it needn't be only images of bike styles we've seen before. Although that's not bad either and bikes with intriguing engineering are always gonna be worth a look . Inspiration can also come from other machines.

I love the swept pipes on the last one.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Not much to go on but the gold framed one with those sexy pipes is saved in my file as being German. Don't remember where I got the photo though. I'll try to find out.

OK, I lucked out (my bike files are huge) and found this. I might have seen this yellow bike elsewhere too, dunno. You might try contacting these guys void909 for info as this is listed under members pictures. It does appear owner is German.

edit: I like the lack of chrome on the engine, and other details. Dare I say... inspirational?
