Ah, Roland Sands! The guy annoys me but builds some nice stuff. Usually not my personal taste but good stuff. He did a 919 I think that was sweet. And now this! Thanks Joksa for the heads up.

Rat400F, I'd take that over a flying car any day. Now riders can kill them selves on both the X and Y axis. Sweet.

Honda Fury, sadly conventional factory chopper, revealed in patent images

These images, from a patent application filed by American Honda, reveal the Honda Fury factory chopper in all its played-out glory. Only coming half a decade or more after the chopper trend was in full swing, it's expected that the Fury will be officially unveiled at the New York round of the International Motorcycle Show on January 16th.

That Honda Fury looks much better in the patent sketch than real life, if that's possible...  yuck.

I agree, but if you lose the rear fender, put on some drag bars and what have ya, it's a nice alternative to the months of waiting and money spent for a custom. I still wouldn't get one, but I'm sure I'll see some on the road.

What makes it even worse is that the "chopper" does not look like it even got the under seat radiator.

what is the thought behind the 'exhaust bar'? for regidity/looks/gives special powers?
anyone know if that is a sportster seat?
The exhaust bar is most likely an equalization tube, to equalize the pulses between the exhausts, adds some effective length to an otherwise short (too short) system. Some schools of thought give "special powers" to equalization type devices. Certainly just being there gives the separate pipes some stability, but i don't think that was the primary reason.

I think they were stock on some sportsters from the factory.

That seat was stock on the 1998-2004 Sportster Sport 1200S (which is what this bike is), along with the adjustable front and rear suspension and other features unique to that model. It's also available from the gigantic "accessories catalogue". The 1200S was discontinued with the introduction of the rubbermount engines in 2004.
That is a balance pipe between the header pipes - it's the stock system, except the mufflers have been removed. With or without a balance pipe, it'll run like sh!t without any back pressure.
Here's a better system ;):
