Was going through some old pics and saw this one, from 1973 or 74 - my first 750 - that's (a much skinnier) me #72 (front row of course  ;D), same day as avatar I reckon.
I wonder if any of these old girls still survive.......750, 500 and 350 fours, if you look hard you can spot the front fender of a Z1 900 Kwak, an RD350....ah, great days. It was when Prod Racing was fair and cheap - we had a lot of fun, passing down the staright and hitting the other guy's kill switch, kicking at shins etc.
I remember this day well - I had K1 pipes on the K2, and had jammed K2 baffles into them to be legal for racing, very tight fit and of course being a total clutz didn't line up the bolt holes - ah, they were tight enough, no worries. The guy on #33 was behind me coming through one of the corners and I noticed a slight change in my exhaust note as I powered out - hahaha, one of the baffles had shot out at bullet speed and just missed his head....... :o :D . We had a good laugh after (and found the baffle....).

Unfortunately I do not have them any more, got the cx500 for free the guy parked it in about 1989 because of scary noises. I replaced the cam chain adjuster fork seals ans a couple of oil seal and it was essentially a brand new bike. The r69s was in real bad cosmetic condition and some minor mechanical stuff, but a ground up refurbish and I was riding in style.

K7’s and K8’s don’t get enough attention. Great look and nice ride. Usually a real bargain too!
