Here's some video of my '75 CB400/4

My '75 Honda CB400F. Once I've figured out the charging issue with the battery, I'll be getting in some seat time.

Ok, I finally got some new pictures that look good. Restored and customized 78 CB750k. Lowered 2", powder coated, Harley rear fender, 2 into 1 pipes, Many new parts. If you like it nominate it for Bike of the Month. Tell me what you think.

Hey! We were wondering who's bike this was about a year or two ago. I specifically want to know about the seat. It's a nice looking bike.

Here's mine at Jackson Hole early this June. The crappy IPhone picture doesn't do the Tetons or my bike much justice. The ride from Jackson thru Teton National Park and into Yellowstone and back was what motorcycles were made for.

Why Sturgis?  A days ride west and you're in this kind of country.

I REALLY like that tale light.  What is it off from?

My sister is doing something similar to her CB550.  I thought it would look like crap, but after seeing yours with a nice paint job I think I have officially changed my opinion about her project.  Nice bike!

Rhinoracer: I just bought this bike from a guy in Melissa Texas named Dalton.
I don't know about the seat or light or even what Harley the fender was off of, but I can ask Dalton. I think the tail light is after market.

Cleveland if you mean me, it's just a fork bag where I keep my rain gear. In early June this year it was still snowy and cold in Jackson Hole so I needed it too. In fact I was po'd I didn't bring a sled out there with me too - I could have ridden it many of the days we were out there.

My saddle bags are real small so I didn't want my rain gear filling them up. The fork bag works perfect for holding them. I leave the storage gear on my bike all the time even around here in Mpls. I commute and everythign else I can do on the bike during our summer.

Also Andy750 your cafe treatment is awesome. Who ever said all the nice looking stock bikes made them wish they hadn't gone cafe rest assured it goes the other way to. Really like what you did there Andy.

I get off work in an hour and a half.  I am looking out the window at a nice sized storm coming through.  They are talking quarter sized hail.  Rain gear would be nice.  8)

Haha thanks,

That CbX was mostly build by a friend of mine. I did alot of work to solve some engineering issues. It doesn't quite run yet because we are having the crankshaft case hardened. That should be the last step, everything else is complete, including the 12 into 4 exhaust,3 - 45mm dcoe weber carbs facing forward with a heim joint linkage and complete wiring with 6 Honda ignition modules. I have spun the engine up on the bench and it gets proper oil and nothing is contacting, so my guess is that it will run and make about 190hp. Who knows, we built this bike for free with some donated cbx motors, free machine shop time, basic hand tools and some help from yoshimura and the CBX club of north america. My buddy George hand made the aluminum bodywork with a couple of hammers, a dolly and a plastic coleman cooler as a bending template :) I have some other pics of Ferrari engines we made into sportbikes, but this is a honda CB thread...

Thanks, since then I went a different way with my project but it would be nice to know just in case. Good looking bike, did I already say that?

That F is nice, clean and simple.

You realize with that CBX12 you have a legitimate reason to have 12 into 12 pipes right?
