Please pray for my daughter
« on: June 22, 2008, 11:30:26 AM »
Guys, I won't go into details now, but my 13 year old daughter suffered oxygen deprivation to her brain last Thursday afternoon. She has not awoke, and is on life support. All the doctors can do is support her bodily functions and hope. Our family has suffered terrible losses in the last 18 months. If you are a praying person, please remember us in your prayers.

Thanks
Jay

Jay, All you had to do was ask and it will be done. Details aren't necessary, just to know that there is a special need is enough. Your daughter and you along with your family are in our prayers. I really feel for you all having those previous problems and now this. :(  Rest assured that the prayers are going out for your daughter. When you can, as fuzzy asked, we would like to know her name so that she can be added to prayer lists. Hang in there guy, with the previous situation our daughter had, we can identify. Please keep us posted, as you can of course.

BTW, Johnie is right, the Lord never does place more on you than you can handle (sometimes we don't think so, but HE knows best. ;) As johnie said, "Place It In His Hands"

                             Take care, Bill

Sometimes just putting one foot in front of the other feels like it takes too much energy.   Have a good cry, then splash some water on your face.

I just said a prayer, and had a little cry for your daughter, Jay.  I don't know you or her, but no 13 year old baby deserves that.

Good luck to you and your daughter, Jay.  I'll be praying for her.

Man, that sucks Jay, all the best to your little girl and you and your family as well mate, and I'll say a prayer for her too.  :'(
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I can;t imagine even a little bit what you are going through, but so long as there is hope I will be hoping with you.

Good positive energy has real healing effects- be positive around her no matter how sad you are and how hard it is, it's like medicine I have seen it work.

Jay, I just got back from Church and I have made your Daughter's condition and needs known to our Church and the prayers are there for you all. Hang in there, the Lord is in charge.

I don't think anything gets to us worse than to have a loved one having problems. :(

The thought of a child in peril like this and what you must be going through is enough to bring tears.

Prayers? You got it Jay.

Jay, Breanna sure is a pretty name and I'm sure that she's a mighty fine young lady. ;)  Prayers for Breanna are coming in from all over.

Our Daughter (Karla) was 11 months old, when she had her first seizure. I don't have to tell you the feelings of emotion we experienced, you already know that. She's 30yrs old now and we feel that we are blessed to still have her with us. ;) Hang in there Jay.

I am not usually a praying person. In this case a sinners prayer may mean something. Hang in there bro.
