im guessing you had to weld the rear sets on?

do you think you could drill the holes in the rotor with a drill press?

I did those rotors on a mill but used it essentially as a drill press. The next sets im doing im having done on a CNC machine.
speaking of the mill, i got to playing around on it again.

Im not sure if im going to use it or not but its fun to do stuff like this.

Where did you get the seat? Did you have to modify it at all to fit it on?

I'm trying man... Trust me! I had to stop working on it last winter, and then was at a standstill this summer. I actually haven't had the bike in my hands for a few months now, because I'm having someone that went to school to work on bikes help me out, and I have to work with his schedule $:-\$ So, it's going to be worth the wait. It's barely been worked on over the past year. Which makes me very sad. The progress is getting back on track, and it will be getting done. I just went to check out his new equipment and to see my bike and take a few pics. I'm hoping it will be completely finished in the next few months.

Got back to working on the 750. It was running rough so i pulled the carbs. I put in the washers in the pilot screw. they were missing. I also put in some washer shims in the needles to replace the hardware store ones that didnt fit right. Did a carb sync. I hate the carb sync i have. Motion pro junk. The liquid all rises at different rates so it not very accurate. Got it the best i could and it runs well and idles ok. When its not warmed up it will idle down and sputter out. When i have ridden for an hour it will stick at 3000 rpm before it will drop down. I tried adjusting the pilot screws but the dont do much except when there so far out that if i leave them there the will vibrate loose and fall out. So Bought some drills and i drilled out a set of idle jets to 45. I am running 42s. Thats it for now. its back to being my daily rider. The rest of my fun money will be going to my 76 550.

if you dont mind, maybe you could post some closeups of those rearsets. they look great and i need to decide if i want to spend money on tarozzis or fabricate some on from a crotch rocket. it comes down to the time(fabricate) verse money(tarozzi) factor for me. if i had a better idea of how i would attach the brackets, then i might be able to decide easier. thanks

your bike looks great, looks like a lot of work tastefully done.

Ill post some pics tomorrow. They are actualy Raask bolt on rearsets but i dont like the look of the brackets or position of them so i took them apart and made my own mounts. It was fairly easy just took time to make sure they were even on both sides.

Got my tank and seat back. Smoothed over the old side badges and a fresh coat of paint.

When i get back from a trip in a week its off to Craigslist. See if i can get some cash for it. Papa needs a TIG welder

No, not forgotten but i would lie to sell it if i can get the right price. Im not into the big bikes really. I Love my 125, still have a lot to do on the 550 and have a 350 i would really like to start working on so if i can sell the 750 ill be buying a new tig welder and maybe an english wheel.
