Do you have any close-up pics of the old brown tank with the pin-stripes ? Man, I love that thing, are the stripes painted on or stick-on ?

No, have no close ups now. It is in my shed and will try to get one later. Raining now. Those gold stripes were painted on a long time ago in metalflake gold and must have looked awesome when done. But the tank had a lot of wear and the clearcoat didn't hold up well. Seemed to get hazy from spilled gas over time.

Venturous, Thanks for the build thread. I've got a K4 that I'm hooking up with a Velorex 700. I'm doing this with/for my little angels, a 7 year old boy and a six year old girl. The project has stalled and yours has provided some inspiration. Thanks again, Rikacamcar.
