I went for a chilly winter ride south of Warragul (Victoria, Australia). The views were so nice I had to stop and take some photos!

Thanks guys!  Yep pretty much original, just a bit over 6000 miles on the clock.  I've always thought the SL175's punched above their weight and this one is no exception.  It's a blast to ride!

About 11 Celsius (52 Fahrenheit), but the wind was gusty and cold, and the sun kept hiding behind clouds!

That's like our spring and fall seasonal temps are, some of the best temps for the bike performance.

Was a great day yesterday to ride a Honda!  A little warm but it's summer, ya know.

With all the rain [and flooding] Lake Travis has risen 37 vertical feet!  We are no longer in a drought.

WOW! 37'
That's amazing. Having lived in San Diego and seen the drought there and in northern California with the water levels in the reservoirs very low there and at Lake Mead outside of Vegas from the 70s to the past 4 years I know how the levels drop down so low.

My race bike only goes on the road to make sure it works before the next track outing. No charging system, only about 40 minutes of battery life :)

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Thanks Bill, it’s starting to look a bit tatty in places, and will eventually get another cosmetic restoration, but while it’s going so well I think I’ll just keep riding it. ;D

I was following your build back then Terry, and I hope you don't need to repaint it.
I remember you installed OEM Honda CB77 305 Superhawk pistons with a nice dome shape.

Thanks Bill, I had a look back thru the build thread to find a pic of those pistons, I'm glad I used them, it pings on anything lower than 98 RON fuel, but otherwise the bike loves them! ;D
