Two seater cafe seats?

I want to turn my 750 into a cafe racer but would still like to have my girlfriend be able to ride along. I've only been able to think of two solutions so far. One, I could somehow modify a triumph thruxton seat to fit my bike, not sure how hard or how feasible that would be. Or two, I saw a cbx the other day and really like the rear cowl, maybe I could buy and aftermarket cowl and somehow add a seat pan to this and make it long enough to fit a passenger...?

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Also, where can I find wheels? I want to see what different styles I can throw on this thing.

not sure how cafe it is... but here's my cut down and reupholstered 400f seat.  stock seat pan, cut down foam, marine grade vinyl.

I used to have an '87 or so 750 Interceptor.  It had a cool cowl that fastened down over the passenger area to make it look like a single seater.  Just an idea.

That's the same thing the Thruxton and Ducati Monsters do.  Works well.

You can also check to see if you can find a Guillarri (sp?) seat. Those will fit two people.

I am considering doing carbon fiber side covers and front fender for my '72 CB500.  Can you give me a little insight on yours?  Homemade, purchased, if so where, etc...  Thanks man

i actually purchased them from an ebay guy... they were made by a forum member here TTR400

they were custom, i was told, at the time... they may have a mold, by now, that they can use... i'm not sure.
excellent quality!
i paid about half price... had i been required to pay what the ebayer originally paid and never used them for... i probably wouldn't have afforded them.  i think i paid 165ish for all 3 pieces... the over 300 that the other guy paid would have been out of my comfort range.

Hmmmm.  My friend has a roll of really high grade carbon fiber-we're tossing around the idea of molding our own parts.  If it goes well, we may offer some up at reasonable prices.  If it doesn't I'll be hitting up ebay I guess.

Not mine, found it on ChopperCharles, a forum for the CX500. I believe it was custom made, but not by its current owner so he doesn't have a lot of info on it.

I got one of Carpys 1st seats. Its on a K8.  It works well for what it is designed to do. Passengers can see over you and it does make a good ride for me as a solo ;D

Think I paid $400 or so back then.
Uses your stock pan for ease of access underneath.
