The fact that she will run perfectly when the weather is crap but when the sun comes out and the wind drops she will miss and fart and develop a new fault that will require new parts that need ordering and take weeks to arrive! >:(
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

9 times out of 10, when I forget to turn off the petcock, no problem.  But that TENTH time is a real bite, 'zpecially with the gas prices these days!!  Step into the garage and I don't dare fart much less activate the garage door opener for fear of an explosion!

I do. It's just habit.  It usually doesn't leak, but knowing we don't have vacuum petcocks, if it got knocked over or something, I'd hate to have gas everywhere...

I try to.  For the reasons mentioned above.

I was doing that too, once and a while there's a little bit of gas under the bike, usually only happens when my tank is super full.  It seems like it doesn't start as nice after the gas has been off though so I stopped doing it.  Have you noticed that too?

I've noticed that, too.  I tend to turn on my gas as soon as I get to my bike, then fiddle around with my helmet/side bags, just packing stuff up or whatever, let the gas fill the carb bowls, wring the throttle a couple times to pump some fumes through, fiddle a little more, then I'm ready to start and go.

Myhondas- I'm always terrified that kids will reach out and try to touch my 'shiny' hot exhaust pipes or engine... and then the parents will sue me for their kids' learning experience.  What? I'm not going to PAY you to TEACH your kids... geez.

Hate is such a strong word. I prefer "I'm not really angry at you, I'm just disappointed"...

1) I'm disappointed that it lacks the ability to reproduce by cell division.
2) I'm disappointed it lacks a "900" switch for those few times when 750 just isn't quite enough.
3) It would be nice if it could talk, even if it was only in French.
4) I'm disappointed that it literally "chaps my @ss" when I ride it for 2 hours straight. See here:

I think you meant to say "French woman"....having a bike that talked like a French guy would be rather irritating  ;)

Good Idea Kit.  I really should be turning the gas off every time, especially because of all my neighbours who like to smoke by the back of the building where my bike is parked.

I have not had mine long enough or put enough miles on it to be antagonized by it yet.....so can I say one thing I like about it?  I am glad it lets me assume a riding position that does not look like I am getting in position to be buggered, like some of the crotch rockets I see. ;D

+1 on the talking to those that "Used to have one".  It was fun at first, but now it's just irritating.

Others:

"How much do you want for it?"  I started telling people $10,000.  It shuts them up REAL Quick!  I'm gonna get a map pouch for the tank, and put this note in it.  "Yes, it is for sale.  No, You can't afford it."   ;D

Stiff throttle, even with new cables and lubed and adjusted correctly.

Cold Fouling D8's, runs hot with D7's   >:(

Not enough sport compounded tires available as a set.

Seat strap to far forward for aggressive turns.

Not being able to take the head/valve cover off while in the frame.
Frame lug/engine design that makes removal/installation harder that it should be.
Cheapo cross head (philips) screws everywhere (gradually phasing them out with allen bolts)
Airbox, major fight to remove/install
Hola hoop tires
Fiddly Points/Timing adjustment
Difficulty in reaching, adjusting #2 carb mixture screw
Weird giant chain and rear sprocket

Note, many of these issues will fade away once the bike is running properly, but right now I am in a loop of bouncing from one of these issues to the next.
