I have been planning on get the whole seat covered but for right now it is going to be just foam. I figured I could get it covered this winter. Probaly a black or dark grey snap on cover with red stiching.

Put my Dyna ignition today and thought I followed the instructions pretty good and went to start it and it backfired thru carb #1. So I reversed the blue and yellow wires and it ran. So I started messing with the timing and It wouldn't run for CRAP! ( only spelled with 4 other letters ). So I look back at the carbs and found #1 cylinder was choked all time. I had to loosen the choke lever to get my Sync adapters to go in and had loosened it to much. So I tore the top loose enough to get the cap off and repair the choke plate. Then I found it would run. But only on #1 and #4 pipes 2-3 were cold. I had power to the coil but plugs 2-3 were fouled. I replaced all plugs and it fired right up. So tommorrow will be timing light and carb sync.

Timed and synced. Bike is pretty much ridable. So I pretty much ate nachos and drank beer on sunday. Hopefully get it off the rear stand tommorrow to do some burnouts. I still have to finish the kickstand but i think I have that covered.

That's awesome.. However where are the photos of the whole bike? Get some and post em before she gets dirty! It's very cool how the helmet matches the bike and just an awesome job all the way around! Good work!

Thanks for the comments! I am going to try to get the bike off the stand tommorrow so I can a couple lil rides in this weekend and get the kickstand finished and painted. I called a friend of mine who is into photography and we are trying to find a good location to take some real pictures. But for now I am just hoping for a couple outside pics and mabye a burnout video.

The bikes off the stand, kickstand is on. I took it out of the garage and fired it up just to find the clutch was misadjusted. Pushed it back in adjusted clutch then backed out the door into the alley and fired it up again. Took a quick run down the alley and it seems front brake is draggin. So back to the garage. Got the front brake adjusted and back outside for test run. I went down thru town to the local tattoo shop and up and down a couple back streets. The bike seems to run and ride fine so far except for a couple minor set backs. Hopefully tommorrow we will run it up the highway.

It's good to know I'm not the only one who felt like that. I'm a squid at heart though... I wonder if some of IndustrialCafe's baffles would do the trick?

The bike looks awesome, but aren't those pipes going to reduce your lean angles in turns?

Go ahead man it wasn't my idea. I read a post somewhere about laying out a wiring harness out like that so you could mark how long everything was to make a new one.

I've worked for companies that manufactured wiring harnesses using that method.  It's nice and repeatable.
