Now the trick is to remember HOW  you did it!

If I had the bucks I'd spring for a gold tank set for the late K0 and two more exhaust sets. I bumped into David Silver at the Davenport Swap meet while on my cb400F, he looked it over. I should have offered to trade for two no number muffler sets. Hindsight huh?
The problem posting pics was not doing it while using google I guess. It seems to work now thank goodness.

Lest someone think I'm a high roller, the original total purchase price of these three was less than what I sold my K1 for last year.  I paid $650 for the green one and the seller thought he got the best of me. As he turned away with the money he had a sneer on his face. LOL.

It's an attached 24x24 with a 24X36 attached to the back. It's pretty much all I have room for unless I get a yard barn. That would be silly, I just have too many toys. Too many carbs batteries and tires to maintain.  My wife's only rule is it all has to be inside, that rule self regulates the rest. I do store a car in the dragster trailer off season, it's a 1940 chevy business coupe, it's been a hot rod since 58 when a guy dropped a J2 olds in it, since then it's had a 348 4 speed, 392 hemi torqueflite and now a 355 small block 4 speed, 9" ford 3.25 posi. Like most of my junk, I got it cheap and spent a decade getting it running. I've owned the firebird since 70 and the coupe since 73. The racing keeps them stalled.
I really want a Roadster Shop spec full chassis for the car, about 15K rolling. That would require a sacrifice.

That 565RL engine in the Business Coupe would get you to the corporate board meeting on time. Wouldn't need the four speed either with it. Just a fast and faster tranny.😎

When it got back from paint, the speedo is NOS I got it on the sandcast site, I built the tach from ebay parts. Yamiya air box, F-B sidecovers, emblems from 4into1 I think, maybe Z1 parts. These lights don't do it justice, it's dark but not that dark.

I feel bad for this bike, it's the first one I got running after getting back into bikes and it's the last one to get finished. I went back to 2014 and the frame welding, under tank bar replacement and powder coat pictures are stranded in photobucket.  At least I can see them in the early part of this thread.

I've purchased a set of 300 exhausts from a member here. I can't wait to put them on the diecast bike. I now have a decent set of proper wire wheels for it and it's one more step closer to stock. My plan was for it to be a modified contrast to the Sandcast but it's de-evolving back to stock appearance. Red and blue/green, The mags and header can go on the brown 70 eventually.

I'm building up the courage to get a cop check on the VIN of the latest 70 for the Vermont registration.

Yes. My main worry is a friend did it and the cop wrote him up for a race car sitting on a trailer in his yard. If someone dug enough I have more than the one that's not been transferred to my name.

I ordered a seat cover tonight, thinking the China tariff business might screw us up on getting some repro parts. I'll probably order some more stuff for the K0. I'm not a fan of Chinese stuff but sometimes it's pretty good quality.

Cops are definitely worse than vampires. At least vampires have the decency do not enter without being asked. Cops will make up a reason to quote on quote Flex their Authority an arrest or become agitated and violent with you if you detest there I'm backed and unwarranted Authority on the falsehood of the matter at hand.
