       Never ran one on a bike (been a long time since I used one on a car too), but the GPZ1100 I got, has the cord to hook one up. Don't have ANY details for you though. Sorry.

I have a Valentine V1 that I run on my touring bike (Honda ST1100). Use an earphone for the sound and mounted it kinda high behind the windscreen so it's almost a HUD type location.

Milled a hunk of Delrin out for the mount. Have sused it for the past 5 years and the mount still works like a champ. Easy to get the V1 in and out as well. Mabe not the prettiest thing in the World, but it works very well.

Weather protection: I keep a baggy in my side fairing pocket. In rain, I just throw it over the V1 and hold it on with a small bungee cord. Doesn't get much direct rain as it's behind the windshield.

I have also made some mounts that would work on an unfaired bike by using the clutch or brake lever perch.
This mount is for a mp3 controller, but the flat portion of the mounted could just as easily be made flat so that a radar dectector could be mounted on top of it...

They sell Aqua Box waterproof enclsoures as well. I use a RAM ball for my GPS mount on the ST1100 - see above. Works very well.

This is my dash and wind screen, I'm thinking about the windscreen mount. Would look the
cleanest on my bike I think.

The windscreen mounts flop all over the place - amazing how much they move.
That mount looks like a RAM copy kinda, how much is it?
If you want a perch mount, I can make it for damned near free - just pay the postage and buy your own mounting bolts.

           Not me!                                                                      

           Not yet, anyway!    Only had it up to about 55-60, so far! To crowded around here. I person needs some SPACE to be able to get anyways near THAT. Give me a little time and I'll get up there somewhat, but doubt that it'll ever see THAT number with ME on it.

I use one in one of my cars, but am not sure how well it does, if at all, with laser detection.
