I would say that is what it started as. .. I suppose he maybe
thought it added value, or saleability
by saying it came from Harley.
Which is what I dont like about the whole deal, the trumpet horn maybe looks like a HD part neither wheels tank, forks or other stuff , looks HD.. except IIRC the rear fender , might be, and taillight looked like off a deuce.. I didnt look real long.

Now I know HD is pretty protective and has people checking ebay auctions a lot. Back when I was selling , I got warned or had to change description.. I started to get a bit PO'd and was thinking of contacting them, to tell them what I was thinking.
think it was 2 pcs.. I had a jug off a Bantam, Hummer or DKW, that was listed as a Hummer barrel; probably with a question mark as well as Bantam in the description. Cant remember all the details, but if they got on me about it, I was going to politely remind them that they were being pretty rabid about a product that was not even a product they designed, it was handed over to them as a "spoils of war" deal.
I wonder what they would say to that..?
