You need to visit the South Side Dive Bar.  I posted this there yesterday.  Hilarious.  I read every post up to page 25(of 41  at the time) and then skipped to the end.  I figured I couldn't spend ANOTHER 2 hours reading the entire thread.

At one point, an "other woman" claimed that she had been seeing a "Billy" who was a bouncer in NYC, and was suspiciously only taking her to motels.  Skeptics in the thread demanded a pic of her and Billy.  She had apparently missed the pic of the real Billy, cause the pic she posted didn't EVEN look like the real Billy.  She freaked when she was told that her Billy wasn't the one in question.  She had left a nasty voice mail message with her Billy.  Popular opinion was that she is still being led astray.  See? A story within a story!

Another interesting thing was that at one point, the thread had been locked.  But when the mods saw the sheer numbers of hits of guests checking out the thread, they unlocked it.

I don't really have any sympathy for the girl.  She chose that guy and had a baby with him.  She made her bed.  

Some women get with a guy because they like his "boy-ish" and immature qualities, thinking it's cute, or just wanting someone to take care of.  Then they expect him to turn into a different person or grow up when they get married or start having children.  

I feel sorry for the baby, though, if the dad never grows up.

And as to her daughter- as the son of a woman who chose and a$$hat and raised two boys on her own because my dad decided he would rather not pay child support. We did just fine. Thanks for asking. Her daughter will do just fine too I bet.

And as someone who himself picked the wrong person (and had a kid with them) and has spent the last 12 years as a non-custodial parent, my son is doing just fine too. None of us (not my mom, not me, nor the woman in the thread) is looking for sympathy or your fuvking approval. If you have avoided these situations then more power to you- but kindly keep you stupid ass judgements to yourself.

Taking things a little personally there, Stark.  If you've got issues or have made bad choices, that's not my problem and I don't want to know about them unless you just feel like sharing.  

I never said I was perfect, and I have made some bad choices in the past, as I'm sure I will in the future, too, but I don't choose to air out that laundry on the World Wide Web.  If you make that choice then you're opening yourself up to the scrutiny of anyone in the world who takes a second to look.

Now chill out and stop getting pissed at other people who have nothing to do with you or the choices you've made.

Also, you're putting a lot of words in my mouth and making quite a few assumptions yourself.  When did I say that a child of a single parent is living a "lesser" life?  Is it wrong to have sympathy for a small child who has an immature and unavailable father?  Really?  

I have no sympathy for the girl.  I don't know why that bothers you so much.  As both of us have stated, she, or anybody else in that same situation, most likely neither wants or needs my sympathy.  So why is it such an issue with you that I have none to give?
