Not sure why I love the old copper choppers, apart from owning one by sheer accident in that my son gave me a jigsaw of 4 boxes a frame and some wheels which turned out to be my CB650PZ. ;D
I think it has something to do with honouring the past, the service these old bikes have done over the years, either that or being chased by two cops on Norton Commandos on my Suzi T350 when I was 16 affected my badly! ;D
How about a couple of VFR's chasing some BMW's around the streets of Hong Kong....lucky lucky coppers. :D

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I guess, however I do like the look of it. I know those rims have been around for a long time and have not really caught on. Mostly because its hard to improve on spokes, they generally work really well when done right.

Weird, yea with a nod to a more modern ride.

Cheers for the "Greeves Sportsman" photo ZZPete, I had a frame for one of those for years, same blue too, never knew what bike it was for so threw it under my Dad's house, probably still there. ;)

I think a yellow ex German 76 CB400F comes under the "Wonderful" category and if I wasn't committed to another major funds outlay right now I'd have this baby.

This is a Mountain goat, a weird mix of kiwi ingenuity and a donor engine (usually Kawasaki) the frames were made in NZ out of what looks like plumbers piping and these things are indestructable. ;D

More like the theft of an idea that's been made here in the U.S. for 20 or 30 years. Notice the driven front wheel.

Were all Rokons 2 wheel drive?  There's a guy here in town that has his street registered and commutes locally on it.

How American of you 333, the "mountain goat was invented in NZ in the early 1960's, nearly 50 years ago......Quite possible that you blokes "stole" it from them..... ::)

The Rokon's have been around since the early 1960's as well Mick, but I think 333 needs glasses, apart from the tyres, I can't see any other similarities? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
