I don't have my list with me at the moment, but that is why I am going with x20 (x10 each).  So there will be extra's over an above those who have already stepped up.  I will post an updated list next week (when back from Pomona) of what will still be available.

In Pomona now.  Did it in 4 days (2400+miles).  Setup is on Thursday.  So tomorrow is final check over, add Frankenstuff's back plate, then put gas in the tank for the startup check at the show.  ffj will probably hear that moment! ;) :)

Regarding Terry's testing.  He expects to take the K1 to the Vintage races at Philip Island on the weekend.  So that should be the 1st real test.  I would expect to hear results early next week.

And the word on the street is... ?

He got to the races, but infortunately not with the K1.  As I don't want those who have sent deposits to wait, I will be placing the order with some extras built in for  those on the fence. ;)

Bummer, I keep checking this thread for his update.

Hey Tintop is there any chance on getting the filters without that ITG logo painted on? Also, you can count me in as confirmed but I won't be ready to pay for at least a month or so..... hopefully you will still have some.

In Terry's defence, they have been having some #$%* weather down his way of late, the flooding we had has made its way through 2 states and is now flooding Victoria......Man we have had some rain.... ::)

No excuses Mick. I don't care if he has to work on that bike with a snorkel and mask we need test results!
  ;D
Just kidding, I heard it was a mess down there. I know he'll get to it as soon as he can. I'm sure he wants to test them out almost as bad as we want to know how well they work.

yeah, Terry is a little disappointing, i thought he was tough ,and had images of him with no snorkel{too hard to put a helmet on} and a set of Floaties mounted to the indicator stems riding off into the sunset.... ;D

Hey pisss off you blokes, I didn't get the K1 finished in time for Phillip Island last weekend, so I rode my Triumph Rocket III instead, I had a great day, but I did get sunburned to the #$%*house.

There were lots of CB750's there, but none as nice as my K1, so I was a little disappointed too, as I would have been basking in my reflected glory for weeks to come, but as it was, lots of guys came over to check out my Triumph, so it was still a great day for posing, ha ha!

I've had the bike (the K1) running with the anti-pod installed and it runs well, but until I get a shorter front brake line made up to suit the Laverda Jota handlebars I won't be riding it far.

Sorry for the delay, but I can say that the set-up looks great and appears to work well, (I have ridden it around my back yard with no front brakes) and I wouldn't worry about the ITG logo, you can't see it once installed anyway.

With luck I'll have some results for you on the weekend. (not that you deserve any, after saying such awful things about me...........  :'(;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Just glad to hear your backyard hasn't become a mud bog course. ;) :)  I'm confident the results will be favourable.

When people see the remote oil filter, should I be giving out your address? ;) ;D  By the way it's sporting that Oz filter you sent.

It's detailed in my build thread near the beginning.  At this point it's the only one done like this.  However I hear Terry has been convinced to make another.  That said it is not an item for a budget build.  My understanding is that a 1st born is no longer enough.  A life time supply of Chivas might convince him to make a 3rd though. ;) :)

I also started this thread http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=73403.0 when I ran into issues with the stock filter clearance and the Swarbrick pipes.

Thanks Brian, and yep, I am making another one for another member here with some mods as per Brian's suggestions, and a couple of ideas I've had to reduce the machine time.

As there are essentially 3 separate pieces there is a lot of machining involved, (around 18 hours for Brians kit) and sadly, a lot of material is wasted, (the "ring" that mounts onto the engine case on the ignition side is machined from a piece of solid billet that costs 40 bucks alone, and what remains is only good for scrap) so at 300 bucks a pop (plus hoses and fittings that you'll need to source yourself, they're too expensive here unless you just want brass fittings and rubber hose) I don't expect to see too many customers, but if anyone wants one, let me know. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I did find a fix for the original bolton design of engine adapter Terry.  A copper washer on both sides of the plain SS washer cured the minor leak there, and maintained the spacing required.  Hoping the oil filter and air filter will get me some bonus points for engineering at the show. ;) :)

"As I don't want those who have sent deposits to wait, I will be placing the order with some extras built in for those on the fence."

As eagerly as I await and anticipate the arrival of the system I still wouldn't want you to feel like there was any pressure to accellerate the well thought out and orderly process you've paced yourself at so far.   In short, and I don't know how the other depositors in this scheme feel about it, but it ain't me that's pushin' you to hurry - you're doin' just fine as far as I'm concerned and if you think for any reason its best to wait another week (or month), then so be it.
