not much to update these days, it was really cold in the garage past few weeks.. and still waiting on parts to arrive.

but these lil sweeties came in the mail monday.. can't wait to see these on the bike this spring.

I haven`t been on this site for a while.. I keep forgetting to update this thread.

Infact. I was getting frustrated having to constantly upload to flickr just to resize my photos to up load here...
So.. friend helped me start my own website/blog.

http://rustyolive.com/

its new.. and just getting my head wrapped around how it works, has taken up more time than welding parts.. LOL.. so bare with me for a bit while I finess it.

thank you sir.

Chain line is coming along nicely. I have off set front and rear sprockets on the way from cycle X.
a few mods to the swingarm and some added beef'n up in key areas and should be good to go. Well.. we'll see how it goes, if it feels not up to par I'll go back to my original idea of building a swingarm from scratch.
Hope to have that done and shock mounts welded in this weekend if I don't get called off to work. crossing fingers that doesn't happen.

Thanks dude. Glad you think so.
Its coming along a lot slower than planned. Life, work and kids take time away from the garage. I had planned on the bike being done by now, parts were held up in Can/Us customs for nearly 5 weeks for some reason they don't wanna tell me.

Hope to get this build back on track in full force soon.

I understand that. I got married 2 weeks ago so my bike has been on the back burner.

I do want to say that I love your photography also, always great shots. Your website gets me motivated to work on mine!

Yeah,   I know.  I moved from Prague to USA when I was 33 -  know a bit about Czech beer:)

But you guys have a better selection in Canada than we do down here in Virginia, here is it Urquel and Staropramen, nothing more.

Prague is an awesome city.  I was there just over a month ago.  Wish I could have been there for more than just a couple days.... Maybe someday I will get the chance to go back.

I drink Staropramen here too. Its a good one to switch up too from time to time.
I'll have to admit. The beer stores here have really good selections.
Perhaps you need to take a road trip this way? Just for beer.. Hahaha

Side note; i built another swingarm yesterday. Its 90% done. Just need to weld in a cross bar and finish cleaning up the welds. But over all, i like how this arm turned out. Feels really solid already. Photos; rustyolive.com

To bad you don't come up any more. Theres a cool under street level pub that had 101 different beers from around the world. Just a few doors from my work. Needless to say, you know where to find me at lunch time. Hahaha
