To get an idea how the tunnel is..
1) I assume that you kicked the baby out of the crib to get a good shot of the tank.

2) Based on #1, I LOVE THIS PIC!!!  ;D

FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

Thanks a lot! My tank measures only 50cm in total. Tunnel is about 5,5cm wide, so i will need to relocate the coils if im gonna use it.
Im really looking forward to get the bikes home now... My head hurts for only building the bike in my head. Need hands on soon :-)

Yeah, its a simple, clean look - how can you not love it?  :)
Im not able to do any work yet as im moving into a new house, but soon, very soon now...

Regarding the tank, anyone know what bike its from? I guess it has to be from the 60`s, but other than that i dont have a clue.

Are you familiar with Deus Ex Machina? http://www.deus.com.au/  They have a very simple clean vintage look as well. They are another favorite of mine.

Long time with no updates... got to many things to take care of these days.
But i got the two bikes home and into my little "chop shop". I have ordered a new head and taillight, a rear 4" alu fender, some new grips etc. Also got the clip-ons and the new Firestone tires in the mail.
Gonna pick up a new battery after work today, and make sure everything works before heading for inspection.

One question; is the breaklight hooked up with the front brake on these bikes, or just the rear? I noticed none of my bikes had a breaklight when using the frontbreak.

Very excited to hear how you like those Firestones.  I think that's the way I wanna go on my bike - nothing beats that look.
