Scottly.... that's "Willing' by ?by?... sh1t can't  remember ... :(

Little Feat...One of my all time favorite bands.

Mike
Yup on both counts. Linda Ronstadt's cover of "Willing", on her 1974 album "Heart like a wheel", was probably better known

Willin was done by the group Sea Train before Little feat  and Ronstadt.  I had the vinyl, they were an exceptionally innovative band with a great early 70's sound...Larry

Actually we were both wrong... :P Its "the Jack" and its from the albums TNTand High Voltage depending on what country you are in, different song lists for different albums it seems.... ;)

Just a little funfact for ya'...The rythym guitarist and co-writer of 'The Easybeats' song, "Friday on my mind" is George Young, Malcolm & Angus's older brother and he was also the producer of AC/DC's earlier albums.

Larry, Willin was written was written by Lowell George, one of the co-founders of Little Feat, in the late 60s, IIRC. There are different versions of the whys, but legend has it he left Zappa's band to form Little Feat because of that song. Maybe he was in Sea Train, also??

Did some quick research; it seems Sea Train's cover of Willin came out in '70, while the Little Feat album was released in Jan, '71. :o
