I've got to kick it in gear. Going to try and get all the covers sealed up, oil in the case, etc. to get this thing running this week.

Is Daphne planning on riding her 750 on the scramble again this year?

I can take some and text them to you if you want.

Do it! I've been mulling it over, and you'll save me from adding another project to the mix.

probably.

You guys need to put that SL together for her.  That way the honda twins will be the majority.

Ha Ha, confused me for a second there.

I hit her up about it and she seemed very uninterested. Its a cool little bike but it sure is rough. I thought about riding it but I think I might get cramps from having my knees pushed up under my chin. I think it would make a cool track bike but I think i will just put it back to stock.

You'd definitely need rear sets with your long legs.

Fixed it.

The fact that she's riding with us retards again should be punishment enough for her.

Hey you 350 lovers have any cool pics? I would love to make a moturd out of this thing if you guys have any pics of that. I did determine it to be a blue /green metalic paint with a yellow section on the tank.

I'm not into hardtails but I like the idea of this bike:

I like this better though:

sl350 bikes have the ugliest tanks. Wonder if a stock 350 tank will fit?

thats exacly what I think. I stuck the green/black cf tank on  and it actually fits. too long but it does fit.

Andy, I do like that hardtail and had seen some done that way. I just dont like cutting up good bikes. Its a one way ticket and I am not particularly good at envisioning the final result.

Yeah, about the only time I'd even consider a hardtail for myself is if I started with an old Triumph with a mangled back end.  But, then again, I probably wouldn't be messing with a Triumph.

the nice thing about some old triumph hard tails is that some of them bolted on ( and then got loose) but you could go back if you wanted too. I love a nice triumph hardtail. Wouldnt do it myself but I like to look at them.

Ditto.   I have a buddy with an old Triumph 500 he's been putting together slowly for quite some time.  I love the look of it, but it makes my fanny hurt to think about riding it.

I feel similarly about that.
