Can you even turn the motor over with the kick start? Did you have the cam-cover off, and reassemble it without tying the rockers up with rubber-bands? Perhaps the only problem is that your starter is not up to producing the torque required to bend valve stems.

na man good looking out im a newb soo every little bit helps 

i even have a hard time with abbreviations u guys use

so i guess im not going to use the starter for the initial first start of the motor and ill kick it.....

then check this motors compression and see if its good

if its not im going to take my points plate and alternator off this motor and put it on my parts motor and start that with the starter since that engine works with the starter and check that compression.....

if the parts motor is good ill use that one if not then ill have to re visit this thread and pull apart my initial motor and change out that starter clutch gear thing
