Just checking on the rules. Does it ha e to be your SOHC4 honda or can you use a different bike?
I'm much closer to having my VLX on the road than my CB and wanted to join in.

We decided few years back that any bike will do.  Happy hunting.

It's still on the drawing board Scott.
There where some issues with the importation.
Tews has been very understanding and has provided storage for the time being.
Our family have suffered three deaths in a short space of time and I have been snowed under trying to adminster those three separate estate's.
But I am getting there, so hopfully I will see my way clear and I can get back to the project very soon.
As I said earlier,  Rich has been very understanding and I would be stuffed without him.

Cheers,
Brian

The bastards took my license off me back in 2012, does a mobility scooter qualify? ;D

Cheers,
Brian
What happened to the 750 auto project??
The older I get the faster I was.

I rode past a tire swing today to get these park swings. I think there are 9 swings here and not one of them is a tire swing, garden swing, or porch swing. This is about my usual level of (in)competence ??? But it is a gorgeous day today and I had a nice ride out to Whitmore Lake.

Prokop, have I missed the mark or is this passable?

You got it Prokop. Just exactly where were the photos taken? Looks like you are almost in the clouds!

Here in Michigan the curves are generally marked with the grandma speed, but I don't think that's the case everywhere. Looks pretty serious at the Welcome sign.... and I wonder how much "faster" the CB is on a 4 mile downhill. Probably a lot safer going uphill.

Bonus awarded. Call the next mark.

In Texas, we usually double the posted curve speed for spirited bike riding!

While touring with my brother in his 45' motorhome, we realized that you really need to abide by those numbers in a big land yacht!

Stev-o, you can still get the 20 mph curve bonus or the knee dragging Double Bonus! But Prokop has already made the mark and gets to call the next one.... congrats on your 10 years, keep the rubber down and the centerline on your left.

This is 33 in Virginia on the way from Harrisonburg to Franklin, WV.  I had a trip planned to go to Morgantown to see my son - alternated my route little bit.

I have a picture of Dorothy at the same spot from few years back. It was a Godzilla run to Beckley.

Next mark:

Apple cider sign advertisement by the road - it will go nicely with the fall coming and harvest and such :)

Prokop, apple cider signs are not common in most of the US. ;) How about making the mark something more generally fall and harvest related? Cider, cornstalks, pumpkin patch?

Since California's on fire, let's go with something opposite.

Your bike with a snowman. Doesn't matter if it's made of snow even, so long as it looks like a snowman - signs are fine as well.

And size doesn't matter - NO LAUGHING - can be a wee little snowman since it's early in the season.

Really?  I changed apple cider to accommodate desert dwellers and you go with snowman? ;D

For what it's worth, before I moved to AZ I lived on the edge of the Mojave desert near a place called Apple Valley, CA. As near as anyone knows, the name was adopted by land developers, hoping to make the area more attractive sounding to potential buyers. I never saw a single apple tree the 11 years I lived there. ??? On the other hand, due to the elevation, I did get more than enough snow to build a snowman more than once. ;D
