Topic: Tommaselli (non-adjustable) clubman bars

Hey Guys,

  i dont know if this thread has been beaten to death but I am in the market for the Tommaselli non adjustable clubman bars. Does anyone know where i can find these?? Or if any of you have them laying around that wanna get rid of them? The reason why i dont want to just go with regular no name clubmans is because these Tommaselli's (from what guys on these forums say), have a way less drastic angle. They are very comfortable without rearsets and you can ride two up without feeling like your wrists are going to break. Let me know if anyone has any, or can link me to a site selling some.

Since bar comfort depends on the riders height, length of arms, seat, personal preference etc...this is rather a silly statement to make...

bbccourt: I had a pair of those many years ago. They are distinguishable from virtually all other clubmans in the the handlebar part of the bar crosses the "U" part of the bar forming a "T".  Most others are a miter joint. I've had many clubman bars and the Tom's were the most comfortable IIRC.

The T style allows you to run the wires inside the bar and come out the end of the bar closest to the instruments/headlight shell.

Having said that there is still this problem. We don't know if the Tom's made today have the same bend as the Tom's made 10 or 20 or 30 years ago. So the comment I or your buddies, may make as to comfort may no longer be valid. And you'll have to spend some money to find out.

And as Andy so aptly says, the final comfort level is determined by the individual's build. If I were to buy such bars again, i would opt for the adjustable Tom Condors or Laverda Jota's.

@MCRider.. thanks so much for both of those links. I think i may invest in those bars from your first link, try them out, and ill sell them on ebay if i dont like them and buy the adjustable ones for my final pair.
@andy750, i completely agree and i do feel like i need a more of a sloping handlebar and from you and others, these are the best made without hurting your back/wrists before you install rearsets..

with that said @ MCrider, hopefully these new ones will be just as comfortable and will get the job done. You mentioned you had other links also? Please send them my way im looking to make a purchase as soon as i can. Thanks

I didn't notice that! I'm sure there for full size MCs as well. Its just that Italians love their scooters. I'll look for a source that is MC related though just for grins.  My personal interest runs to the adjustable bar.

They show "maxiscooter" in their promos. We have a maxiscooter, burgman 400, weighs over 500 lbs. The site lists those bars as replacements for the Burgie, Also the 600, an even bigger handful than the 400. (Or a CB)
