Just called the guy. He said he is about to get his schedule approved, and it looks like he will be off most of next week.

He is going to call me as soon as he finds out (next day or two), and we will meet up.

these sandcasts were probably the backup motors for Dick Mann's CRs. One may have even been on the first apollo mission.

Man Rigid, I haven't been on the site long but you remind me of a former member who shared a lot of valuable information to all. Sad part is he got up and left the site when he was criticized. From the avatar he had , he reminded me of Mike the mouth Matusow..

I'll take that as a compliment.  I did a little research on here, the web, and youtube.  It looks like he is a pretty decent wrench and helpful to others.  His new Youtube videos about valve work were right on.  So, thanks.

  My money is on this all being real but not quite sandcast.  That being said I hope it's all real and that homey gets a sweet deal on some SC motors and an aluminum frame.
